Unknown caller to my cell - left no message - I blocked them

They left a voice message. It is an automated message from some credit company trying to sell their service to reduce your credit card balance amount. When you call back it beeps and hangs up on you.

Call fails or is busy when you try to call the number.  Scam.  Blocked the call.

Recording. Press 9 to talk to a rep to lower my credit card debt.

Some credit card scam. Robo call said they had been monitoring my credit card. Push 9 to speak with a representative. I pushed 9 and Monica answered. I asked which of my credit cards they had been monitoring. She hung up on me! The nerve!

Called twice within the same minute. Left no message.

Received call from this # about 4 hours ago.  I didn't answer.  A message was left, but it was only like background noise for a few seconds.  Thanks to all your messages here, definitely Spam.

Called on my cell, didn't leave any message. I use this phone for outgoing calls only. Since I don't know them and didn't ask them to call me, then it's spam.

Received a call on my mobile phone from 361-438-6140 on 10/13/2016 at 5:36pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Texas". Did not answer and no message was left.

Based on comments posted elsewhere it appears that this is yet another number being used by the "Card Services" scam. The frequency of calls I have received from numbers associated with this type of scam has been increasing recently, particularly on my mobile phone.

I have added this number to my Google Voice block list. If the caller attempts to call again they will receive the not-in-service recording.
