received a call from 368-654-8689. i am sure it is card holder services so i didnt even answer it. Tired of dealing with these people. I have tried threatening them and their families trying to get them to call the cops so i can find out where they are and then file action against them. Somewhere there has to be an attorney that is willing to file a class action lawsuit against these people.

Like all of you, this number called my phone at 9:54 am today (2-8-13).  I have tried everything too.  Reported all these card service numbers to the Do Not Call registry, but that place is a joke.  They will not make them stop.  So what can we do?

Treat them like the crap they are. Threaten to kill them and talk nasty hoping they will call the police.
The Do Not Call list is a joke from the Feds.

I wish that they would stop calling me. They do not even leave a message , so you know that something is not right. What happened to the "Do not call " number ? That doesn't seem to work.

They called me today and I told them to stop calling. He said that it was his job and if I gave him a million dollars he would stop calling.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com
In their own words:  'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their con then it is just icing on the cake for them.

    4.    Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov

You know, I've had my phone number on the do not call list since it was started; I've reported the calls to the do not call website; I've reported the calls to the FCC; I've tried to be polite and request they stop calling me.  All that ever happens is the phone calls start coming from different phone numbers.  I think the only option I have left is to get an air horn and wait for someone to answer.  Maybe if they start suffering hearing loss, someone will stop calling!

Just another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers. Google my name to learn how to eliminate their annoying calls, while also having some fun!

These calls are extremely annoying.  We need somone to offer a huge reward for the person or persons that can come up a great solution for stoping or blocking these calls.  This issue is at an epidemic level.  It's bad enough being annoyed at home but mow at work too.  Something major has got to be done.

I've read where the FTC has taken notice of these '"idiots" scammer phone calls. They are having a hard time dealing with them, because they 1. are fake phone numbers (reason why the 'do not call registry' is not doing anything) and 2. when a call is made, they then change numbers like you change your underwear [hopefully]. So until technology catches up with the way FTC can deal with these crooks, its best to have caller ID and then not answer if you don't recognize the phone number.

I'm like you I've answered and said some very unflattering comments about their lifestyles, family history and bodily functions, but of course, it doesn't help the phone keeps ringing and each time with a different phone number.

Good luck to all of us
