this seems to be a collection agency of some sort i only got the last half of their recorded message and from what i heard it is either a legal firm or a collection agency.

Person by the name of Amber called in regards to debt owed for a loan. Nothing but scammers. BLOCK all calls from these annoying people.

Stop calling

Received a call from this number.  When I answered, I didn't get a real person.  Instead, I received a recorded message that provided no name of the person calling, the company they are with, or the "client" they claim to represent. The message is absolutely identical to a message that I received from no less than three different numbers in two different states in recent weeks.  A man's voice, (in this one - I've received the same scripted message with a woman's voice before), claims to be from "the processing division"; but from what company, court or organization, they don't say.  Says that there "looks like" there are "two charges pending" against me.  Says that they are going to pursue serving me with documents at my residence or at my place of business and that, once I'm located, I forfeit my rights.  (Clearly they are targeting, and attempting to frighten, individuals who don't understand the law and/or their rights.)  I don't know who they are, but their practices are not just unethical, but they're also skating over the letter of the law.  If they are attempting to collect a debt, (which I suspect they may be associated with a debt collection attempt I received recently where the organization was trying to collect on a credit card debt that was legally and finally settled 24 years ago), they did not identify the call as a debt collection attempt; which they are required to do by law.  My advice: Either block the number and ignore these people, or find a law office that is willing to throw the book at them without too much cost to you.  They're acting illegally.

Have been receiving this call for aboput a month now.

Just leave messages but only half of one.

Now they say that "You have been officially served."

Scam don't answer

This is nothing more than a scam.  I have excellent credit with no past due bills.  All bills are paid in full before the due date.
Caller called my cell phone.  I do not give my cell phone number out to no business.  Because I have good credit & all & don't give my cell phone # out to businesses, I know this is a scam for a fact.

got one of these today, robocall with the name of the person they're trying to reach inserted, and a case number. too bad for them it isn't my name. seems to be scam, name of caller (seems intentionally) garbled.

I missed a call and called it back.  A man named Eric Laughlin answered stating he is from National Information Center.  When he advised me the call was being recorded I said I records all my calls too. He said I have to ask permission.  I said I don't I only have to notify of the recording and he cut me off in the middle of my sentence to hang up on me.  Good way to get them to hand up on you I guess.  I looked up NIC.  It is a report center for banks.  They do not call people

They are a total scam would not take any attorney info.

Would like to block this number there saying there going to call my job.

Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.  This "National Information Center" has a long history of debt scamming on 800notes.

This is one big scam dont send a cent!!!!!!
