got this call too on SUNDAY ?? Asked For Me Specifically??

Got this call on April 19 at 4:01pm he said he is from th childrens cancer center and said its not a scam and was pushing me to donate when when I told him I couldnt afford to donate he still keep on pressuring me to donate at a 15.00 dollar level and when I told him I couldn't do that then he hang up on me  beware if you know your childrens cancer in your area call them and donate personally or go into the hospital.

Got a call today from Children's Cancer 385.212.2505 and asked for me by name. I came to phone and said hello 3 times and no reply. I hung up and got on the computer to see whose number this was..... I will block the number.

Just got a call from them on my home phone at 8:25 PM MDT. Didn't answer the call and they left no message. They have been calling around 8:30 PM the past few nights.

I received a call today with this number.  I told the lady things were tight and I could not contribute to any extra organizations.  She wouldn't leave me alone.  I finally told her that my son had had childhood cancer (true) and that her organization did not help us whatsoever!  She was quick to get off the phone.  It is really upsetting to have such people taking advantage of not only others by trying to scam them to get their money, but also using it in the name of a viable cause.  I think I will call the Attorney General's office about this and report it.

They call every night between 8:30 - 9:00pm.   Sometimes asks for the lady of the house.  Sometimes won't talk at all.  Caller ID says Children's Cancer.  It's been going on for about 2 weeks.

This is a scam! If you want to give to a charity look one up. Turn this number into the attorney general's office.

Received a call from this number on 2-2-16.  Caller I.D. said "Childrens Canc....."   Exactly 1 minute later, received another call from (801) 316-9356....a number I had blocked just 3 days ago, so I'm guessing they are related.  These calls are sickening as they use tragic events to scam people out of their money....not to mention the harm they do to the truly legitimate organizations.  If you get a call from these numbers, please contact your State Attorneys Office and, hopefully, we can eliminate these disgusting predators.

4 rings and then hung up.  Immediately following by another call from 402-413-6775.  Must be related. Caller ID info was almost identical,"Childrens Canc". Donate directly to St. Jude's or other hospital or the American Cancer Society, a more well known charity.  I doubt this is legit.  Most of the money probably goes to fundraising.

Did the AG do anything?

These people will not leave us alone.  No idea how they got our unlisted number, but if it was through our own treatment, you can bet we'll file a HIPAA complaint!  Have contacted FTC about harrassment; our state's attorney general is worthless, but we hope others can get some help.   We do not believe it is a legit non-profit.
