unsolicited telemarketing call or some sort of scam.- Caller: Federal Financial Group

- BKIts a scam. They call you and hang up. You see a missed call. You call back. They charge you for the call, and for each minute they can keep you on the line.
The scammer sets up a computer to call thousands of numbers per hour — because for every 99 people who don’t call back weird numbers, there’s 1 person who will. Maybe they’re waiting for response on a job interview, and don’t know what number it’ll come from. Maybe they’re hoping it’s the looker from the bar last night. Maybe the number just seems kind of familiar. It’s all about making mass sweeps and finding the exceptions. So, don't call back...- Caller: Scammer
- DAWNTelemarketer, plain and simple, I lifted receiver and slammed it down on them.

- Industrial Grinders| 1 replyA woman from "Federal Financial Group" has called our office daily for a week. She is claiming our phone # was "randomly" selected to receive a free "scratch off ticket" for a promotion they are running. Just another random telemarketer. It's not a trap to get you to call the # back so they can rob you. Asked her her supervisor this time, explained to him that she(the same woman) has called her 5x this week, and 5x she was told we were not interested. He apologized and said he will remove the #. Unlike most telemarketers that just hang up on you when you ask for a supervisor or to be added the their DNC list.

- Tired of ThisCaller ID said "Federal Financial" - I answered it to see what kind of robo-call it was going to be this time, and I got a woman who said she needed to speak to "the manager." "What is this call regarding?" I asked, and she launched into some story about our company being chosen for a "random" drawing for a "scratch-ticket giveaway" and she emphasized that there would be "absolutely no money involved." I asked her to confirm the company name--Federal Financial Group--because, with a name like that, how can there NOT be money involved? I told her to never call us again, because if I hear from her or anyone else at that scum-basket "company," I will report them to the attorneys general of California AND Utah. Harassment is no way to win clients.

- Michael CI received a call from this # yestderday. They didn't ask any "private" information but told me I had been selected for a scratch off card. They said they would call me back in a week. Today I noted a "unauthorized" charge to my debit card. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. No idea how they got my info to make charge but they had the full credit card # in addition to the "CCV" code on the back to complete the transaction.

- disco_y2kIt still works if you call Federal Financial headquarters, 801-495-2009, and ask to speak to the "operations manager" on duty. If it is true or not, tell them you are getting unwanted calls several times a day to a business reverse toll phone number. When you know who to call at a corporate level, it becomes an issue of gains/losses. Remove a few people who called the right person and then keep doing business as usual and screwing the masses, or risk the whole scam by telling those few people to screw off. The calls will STOP within 24hrs. No corporation will risk a huge legal issue over a few people calling to be removed. PLEASE once you have good results post them! If you have bad results post them as well, but you won't. Hell call from a payphone if you are worried.
I got my phones removed several months back. A friend had the calls start on Monday. I personally made the call FROM MY CELL PHONE about his phone number, Calls to his stopped within minutes and I of course have no calls from them. This is real advice, If you take my advice and it does you harm I REQUEST THAT YOU POST YOUR COMPLAINTS as long as you also will post when the results are positive!
What have you got to lose, they call you constantly anyway and it WILL NOT stop EVER if you do nothing!
cheers,
disco
