Got a call but they left no message

Display showed "VEH Prot C" something.  They hung up when I answered.

Call me about one hour ago.
Service call came up as the name.

Call from "National Dealership Service" or some BS like that about a car I was leasing but turned back in months ago. Said I didn't have it, he laughed and hung up. I think they were trying to sell me an extended warranty.

Called and left me  "Hello??....... " voicemail. Based on other entries, I assume it is Auto Warranty garbage.

"Service Call" called, again.  I told them the first time I didn't want what they were selling (extended car warranty), but they don't seem to believe me, and call repeatedly.  I no longer answer.  This should fall under the category of "telemarketer", since they are trying to sell something, so the Do Not Call rules should apply to them.  Since they choose to ignore those rules, I choose to ignore them.

Received a call from "Bob Ward" of "National Dealer Services".  The caller id said "Service Call."  I told him I had no interest in a car warranty, and to not call again.  What do you want to bet I get called again tomorrow? Parasites!

Received a call from 3852756610 I did not answer I tried to call it back but it says non working number. I think it is a car warranty place that calls from various numbers.

A man called and when I picked up my phone he said he was calling about my 2009 Hyundai Sonata.  I told him I had never owned one and he hung up on me.  He never mentioned a company name.

Picked up a call a few minutes ago to someone saying hello hello hello hello.......I would respond every time and finally I said hi who is this and they said Oh wow 6 hellos and laughed and hung up

i would love to call them at home /work and harass them 4 to 5 times a week . what a pice of ......... company

They called asking for my husband (who has his own cell phone)...when I asked them why they would need to speak to him on my phone, they hung up.  Pretty sure it is the same people that called a few months ago offering an extended warranty on his care that I had told them at that time he would NOT be interested!

Call from National Dealer Services wanting to sell me an extended warranty for my car that still has 7 years left on the factory warranty.  I told her (didn't get her name) to remove me from all lists and she was rude and told me "Absolutely Not", and hung up on me.  They are a telemarketer, nothing else.

I swear if I receive one more phone call from these stupid people who don't take no for an answer about my extended warranty I'm going to sue them for harassment

Didn't answer - Veh Prot Ctr on caller ID.  Thing is I have NEVER owned/leased a vehicle in my name.  Also received a Vehicle Protection Notice in the mail yesterday in my name - but no vehicle was shown on the form.  These are scammers/telemarketers.

They called my cell phone, which is infuriating to me. I have all my phone numbers on the federal "do-not-call" registry, and these wads call anyway, along with political 'survey' people. This one called, I answered to dead air. Kept saying "Hello?" until I heard a tape-recorded female voice say "Goodbye!" and that was it.
I called the number back to tell whoever it was that they're not to call again, and I got a message saying "You have reached a number that is not in service..."

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
