they talk about medicare and have your name and address and tell you that your card needs to be updated or something then they ask for a routing number.

Our Department has received two complaints that callers from this telephone number state they are with the Federal Government Medicare office.  They attempt to get social security and bank account numbers.  The person identified herself as Nancy and became beligerent when she was asked questions about who she was and why she was calling.  Gave a call back number that was not related to her.  We are attempting to get the word out to the public in Waushara County, Wisconsin

They called and said they were updating Medicare records and wanted my address.  The woman, with a Spanish accent, then asked for my Bank account number and I hung up.  She called twice after that and left messages saying she was going to cancel my social security checks.

needed to update social security info and they were sending a new card. When he asked for my age I said no I would not give it to him and he hung up.  He spoke very broken English and I had him repeat several times.

Person called mumbling unintelligible and very broken English. Got mad when pressed for information and told they had a wrong number. They said no, they just have the wrong person. We hung up on them at this point.

Person call said they were from Soical Security and wanted all of my mothers information, Her S.S. number, mailing address, full name, account number and more.

WE RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY WANTED INFO OF SOCIAL SECURITY AND SAID THAT IF WE DID NOT UPDATE THEY WOULD SHUT OFF ACCOUNT.  THEY WENT AS FAR AS TO SAY THAT THEY NEEDED NUMBERS ON BOTTOM OF CHECK. AFTER WHICH WE CALLED BANK AND CHANGED ACCOUNT NUMBER.... I WOULD HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN TRACK THIS DOWN AND STOP THIS SCAMM...
