Got a typical call from a  'robocall' type of call from this number that comes up as being from Glocester, RI.  Got a typical one ring without anyone answering (common with these phishing calls).

Has anyone else received a call from this number?  This is a new one for me.  These calls seem to come in 'waves'; I won't get some for a while and then they come frequently from many numbers from many different states.

I wish there was some way for the 'powers that be' to stop this flood of spoofed numbers from these predators!!

Mine too, plus I silenced first ring, so it rings once (I can't hear it) then blocks :) dandy!
All I can hope for is karma - I wish these people get as many, no more, scam calls in their home than I do and for years to come.  Now that's justice!

iphone also blocks calls from a specific number...just click the circled i in the RECENT CALL.....ALL....find the number....click the circled i and then click scroll to the bottom and click BLOCK THIS CALLER.  The problem is that the robo does not call from the same number twice..

Rachael credit card services is a scam to steal your credit card info.

Love the call blocking feature of the Panasonic phone.   Just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  Love the "block caller" feature on it as well.....  Still annoying though.

Well since you opened that door, YOU'RE an idiot. Even after I put one on call reject they still try. Idiot...

They call my number multiple times using the same number and then use different numbers I just keep blocking

Actually they do, several times over several weeks. Last year alone, I had over 45 numbers call me over 300 times.
So grow up and don't call people names. You're the ignorant one here.

They use a series of core numbers, but you are right they mix their game up and add new numbers. Why did you have to call the person an idiot?

robocall on my cell phone from   401-217-8508 caller ID said "No Name" on Friday 11-06-15 @  1018 AM.

SCAM call from rachel of credit card services. normal message from her to -
"lower your interest rate to as low as 6.9%. Press 1 to speak to a representative."
(they no longer even have a fake opt-out number to press).
I let the message end then added to my BLOCKLIST.

Second call I've had from this number in about a month.  The first call was a 'one ring - no answer' call, but the second one this month had the identical recorded scam call from 'Rachel with cardholder services'.  Interesting, I had the exact same scam call come in from other spoofed numbers dating back from over a year ago.  I've received the 'Rachel' recorded call  from:  (215) 233-3548 – PA, USA; (801) 614-8645 – Clearfield, UT; aand (304) 263-5785 – WV, USA.  I only know this because I started recording some of these calls in case they are ever useful in the future (or because I just have too much free time!).

Clearly, some of these predators just cycle through these different spoofed numbers with the same scam.
