National Grid.

I received a phone call from this number but don't know why?

National Grid meter exchange number, they schedule an appointment to swap gas meters

Guess they never heard of leaving a message!

This number called me 2 days in a row
As I picked up they hung up on me
If this is national grid I'm not getting the message due to thier switchboard.

The caller identified herself as National Grid stating that we were due for a meter change. There was a lot of things she said that made me suspicious that this was a scam. When she said she could schedule the meter change for New Years day, I immediately called National Grid customer service. They knew nothing about my meter change and my meter was too new to even need changing.

Received calls for the last 3 days.  Caller I'd said National Grid.  Called them and they don't know anything about it.  Think it's a scam.  Won't answer it anymore

This is the 2nd call I recieved. They don't say anything.

Same here.  Asked for my information stating it was national grid.   Said national grid pays them to call out but she did not know why....no reason for her call.

Missed the call tonight. Called it back and the message stated that it was National Grid and that office was closed through June 23, but I could call back on June 24 for an appointment. Since this is only March, I'm going to go out on a limb and say it wasn't really National Grid.

They need to change the gas meters when they are too old. They call to make an appointment. They are quite disorganized.

I keep receiving calls from this number informing me they need access to my house to update the gas meter. They do not leave a message and the line is always busy when I try to call back.

Computerized voice telling us we need to have our gas meter changed.  They leave this number (401)335-8877 to call between 7a.m. and 9p.m. to make an appointment to have it replaced.  Our meter is not even 3 years old.    They state that this call is from National Grid.  This is a scam.

This number is National Grid. I called NG at the phone number on my bill and asked for the number to call about having the gas meter changed. I was given 401-335-8877. This number is always busy. I called NG at the number on my bill again. I was then able to make the appointment for the meter to be changed. It's not a scam.
