But spam callers don't care, so go figure...

I got the call from the number that it said from alert security system. boo...[***]!!!

Just got one too, alarm company. They're probably sequential dialing. I pressed 1 and got hung up on. My guess is they'll dial every number and responders get sent to another list that will have value because they know someone answers. Then they'll sell the list. Expect more calls.

Just got one as well, we the people, need to pass a legislation making it illegal to telemarket on cellphone numbers. They jsut do it because so many people dont have land lines anymore.

Got two call from this number.  Something about installing an alarm system for free. BS I figure...

lately I have been receiving quite a bit of  non-solicited phone calls. Thanks to this wonderful website, I realized that I am not the only one. This is quite annoying.

Friday 5/7/2010 4:30pm received an offer for "home alarm systems being installed in your area" by a robot. Looks like it's from a sequential dialer. I received the call to a cell phone.

5/7@7:15pm ...didn't answer but wanted to state that I got a call too. Sounds like a very fishy scam to me!

5/8 11:00 am- answered, no one there. Wasted a precious cell phone minute. How is my cell phone number even available to these people? grr.

Are you kidding me that we cant stop these people from calling?  With the technology we have?  It's probably a gov't ran company with some politicians bank rolling it and getting the profits.  STOP THESE PEOPLE FROM CALLING!!

I got a call from this number and from a different number a couple of days ago with the same robot message about a bogus alarm systems being installed in my area.  Then I pressed 1 to talk to a representative and the women asked how I was doing and then I advised that I had received a phone call from the same company from a different number and before I could say anything else she talked over me and quickly explained that they would remove my number from their call lists and that it takes 48 hours to complete and while I advised not to hang up because I wanted to talk because I had received the same call from a different number she just HUNG UP on me.

Got the call, didn't recognize the number, let it go to voicemail, no message left. Glad I did.

Called my cell phone, back to back phone calls on Saturday May 8th, 2010. I did not answer either call. They did not leave a message on either call. I live in Fort Worth, Texas. Beware everyone..

I received a call today about 2pm and another one 2 wks ago. Just like many others I did not answer and no voicemail message.  I agree with Marty Collins, I cant believe noone can stop these ppl. from calling. Is it just cell phones or home too?

Tucson AZ. Have also been receiving calls from this number. Called back and pressed one to be "taken off call list". We'll see I guess.
