I got the same call. This foreign guy, who was reading off of a script, explains he is calling in regards to a payday loan I took out in 2008. This happened to me a few weeks ago as well, so I sought legal assistance. This is where I found out this is a huge scam. I was angry today when he called because I was sick and didn't feel like dealing with him. I plainly stood my ground and told him not to call me or anyone in my family again. I also told him I would report him to the FTC as soon as I got off the phone with him. These guys are scammers and they are after money. The numbers they are using are spoofed numbers. They claim to be from legal departments and from federal offices that don't even exist. It's craziness.

I got the same call but back in Feb I reported them to FTC , I recieved a call today from the same guy but changed his name this time, it the same numbers they used before, how stupid. I aske for something in written and informed about the fair credit act. then he got made and starting threating my job . I will call FTC today and add to my compaint, but it looks like they have alot complates against them. stand your ground and keep all convesation on written .
