when i answerd it just made beeping noises

I tracked this call,and when I called it, it was answered by a woman with an accent who claimed it was a salon. I could not get the name because of her accent and if I asked a question,they would hang up.

I did not call the # back. No message left. I looked it up because I didn't know where 401 was and was surprise to see it on this list.

so wierd, I recvd a call from this number, no msg left and my cousin who lives in the same town recvd a call from this number around the same time today, when they called her number, a strange women left a msg on her machine and all she said was hello, hello?? not sure what this is all about, creepy to see that other's have also recvd a call from this number recently

Call by this number - repeatedly, no one answers. Annoyed. Want it to stop.

Sales call for smoke alarms.  Appeared to be placed from a call center overseas (Philippines??)

"Congratulations. You've been selected to receive a free GE home security system!...bla bla bla..."  Woman had an accent(India) and lots of office noise in background like it was from a call center.

Selling some kind of wireless alarms GE Security,,,had 2 calls from them even though we are on "DO NOT CALL LIST"....one call from man with accent, second was a woman with accent...

Got a call on my caller ID. Called the number back and the woman said it was a salon. Called it again at 10pm and got a message with an unidentifiable name . . . heavy accent. I'm concerned about these postings and the fact that they are trying to sell alarm systems as our home was recently burglarized. Has anyone else had a recent break in?

Just got a call from this number at 5:50 EST.  Heavy accent, very poor english, said it was a GE security system.  When I asked where he was from he said their office was in Rhode Island, When I said "No, where are You?" He insisted RI. He asked if his local manager could call me in ten min. When the "Manager" a fast talking American called my wife answered and he refused to leave a message.  I grabbed the phone and spoke to him I told him I was interested but wanted more information because I couldn't understand the first guy and thought refusing to leave a message sounded shady.  When I said I typically won't deal with companies that out source-He hung up. I'm also on do not call.

I get about 10 calls a day from people saying, "Hi you just called here?"  Really I did not call them, for some reason their caller ID has the number 401-427-0929 showing, but when they hit redial its being routed to my cell phone for some reason, so everyone things I am calling them but I am not.  This is driving me crazy!

Gotten a bunch from this number, but not when I've been home so I didn't really notice.

Male, very heavy accent - "this is not a sales call"

Called few times asking if I was homeowner.  Asked who he was, hung up phone.

Another Operator and I kept receiving these calls one after another.(30 within a hour) I tried to explain to the rude salesman that this was a Hospital and the phone lines need to be open for emergency calls or important physicians calls!!!!! He was VERY Rude!!! Had a very heavy accent as if from India. There was also a woman who would not get the hint!! During this time duration we got a CODE A from one of the floors(this is where a patient arrests and needs attention) they would not stop. How can we stop these people?? While they are bothering us with this nonsense a persons life could be in the balance!!!!!

Same phone call as Unknown on July 12, 2008. Accented woman saying, "Hello Hello" twice on answering machine

Guy called me from this number, heavy accent said he was checking to see if we have smoke detectors etc... I kept asking him how he got my number, he kept talking over me, I hung up.

I have now received over three calls from this entity w/i an hour. They hang up  each time before the vm kicks in to avoid it, no doubt.

Phone rang from this number and no one was there when I picked up.

A guy with a thick Indian accent called today. He said he was from VMS and I plus nine of my neighbors just won a free $1,200 G.E. security system. To have a little fun, I asked him who the nine other neighbors were.  He was flustered for a few seconds, but then resumed his sales pitch.  I kept interrupting him asking him for the names of the neighbors who also won the security system and he finally hung up. Guess they can't take a joke.
