4 calls in one hour.

This number is calling my daughter's cell phone repeatedly. How do we make it stop? When I call back I get only an answering machine. They say they will remove the number, that it may take 48 hours, but despite two requests (and more than 48 hours) they continue to call.

I get numerous calls from this number always asking for my wife. When I ask what its about they hangup. When I call back, it goes to an answer machine.

who ever it is is calling me every two hours... WHAT IS THIS!! I need it to STOP!!!

I'm getting calls from this number between 8 - 13 times each day.  They claim to be from Handyman Magazine and ask for my husband.  No matter what I tell them, they hang up on me.  I have made repeated requests for them to stop calling and have left a request on their answering machine.  I e-mailed Handyman Magazine with a complaint.  I also called my phone company to complain - they were no help.  They suggested that I file a complaint with the local police.  I looked up the carrier for this number.  It is Cox Telecommunications in Rhode Island.  I called Cox to complain and they said my only course of action is to file a complaint with the police department.  If I continue to receive calls from this number after tomorrow, I will definitely file a police report.

Annoying, even more so because I am on the do not call list.

Got a call from this number - it was regarding a magazine subscription - possibly Women's Day or Family Circle.  One of my kids answered the phone so I don't know what all the details are.  They hung up when realized they weren't going to get to speak to me.

Wanted to talk to my husband about a baseball digeste that we have yet to receive.  He wanted to offer him a discount.  Why would we renew if we've not even gotten our first issue?!  Caller was VERY rude!!

I have also received numerous calls from this number and they have never left a message. I don't think that I have ever received a call from Rhode Island so I had not clue who it could be. I never called them back since they left no message. If they can't leave a message it must not be important. Today I was home so I answered. A female voice asked if Christina was there. I said there is no Christina here. She said okay and hung up. I really do not know anyone by the name of Christina so I certainly don't know why they would have any reason to call back.
So now I see if I receive another call from them. If I do, I will ask more questions or attempt to anyway. I hadn't thought about looking the number up before now.
If they don't call back again then that could be the answer to stop them from calling.

Same here.  Called my house 3 times today.  I'll file a complaint with donotcall.gov.  Hopefully it will work.  Annoying [***]!

I have received calls on my cell phone from this number.  As a rule, I generally do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, especially on my cell.  For those of you having a problem you do have recourse --- the FCC --- Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.  Their website is www.fcc.gov   When you make a request for someone to stop calling you they have a duty to honor that.  Please go to their website and go to:  Contact FCC -- FCC Consumer Complaints.  It is here were you select the type of complaint:

I just called this number back and left a message stating "I am requesting you stop calling me -- any future calls I will file a formal complaint with the FCC.

Please notify the FCC --- go to their website at www.fcc.gov -- click on Contact FCC and file a Consumer Complaint.  If you have requestd they stop and they are continuing, especially on a minor's phone... Please fill out the Online Complaint and provide all the information.

Please go to www.fcc.gov --- contact FCC and file a Formal Complaint online.  If more people do this the FCC will definitely get involved, this company or individual will have to pay heavy fines.

STOP CALLING! No message, no information left!!

Has called about every 2 or 3 hours. I never answer calls I don't recognize,much less those that do not leave a message. Once,on accident I'd imagine, the person calling stayed on the phone after the beep for the answering machine and all I heard was some type of rock music going on in the background. Someone must be a little too bored for their own good. I filed a complaint so hopefully someone will put a stop to it.

I normally don't post on these but look up numbers when the calls continue to come in.  I have a Panasonic phone that blocks calls, but the first ring goes through.  I shouldn't care since they're blocked, but it still irks me that I spend 10 hours at work & 2 hours in traffic, so with little precious time at home, I hate to get bugged by telemarketers.  Calling me 7 times in a span of 2 days is not going to get me to buy your magazine.  If I knew specifically which one it was, I'd be sure to NEVER buy it again.  I wouldn't even take it for free.

5 calls from this number,  no message left.  I will block this number.  Then report it to the fcc.

they wanted us to subscribe to OK magazine and even after telling them no.  they still call at least 3x a day!  Very annoying.
