Called twice within 2 minutes. No caller ID. I didn't answer it. A search on the internet shows the number is the fax # for Wells Fargo Advisers. Hope somebody just missent a fax, and it's not a sales call.

I just received a call from the same number, I did not answer and there was no voicemail left.

This number called about lowering mortgage rates and I don't even have a mortgage. I'm supposedly on the Do Not Call List too.

Got a call from this # today. Didn't answer. No message.

Just ignored their call. Seems like from reading the above messages that this is a spam call. I hope whoever is behind this gets plantar fasciitis, irritable bowel syndrome and a sever acne breakout.

Got a call on my CELL PHONE from this number. They didn't leave a message. How they got my cell phone number is a mystery. I don't give it out to any business where it might get put on a list. Hearing that it might be a spam call is really annoying!

The caller doesn't really need your number. Most scam calls are "robo" calls meaning a machine just starts dialing numbers changing a digit at a time automatically. They are illegal to cell phones but of course these people don't care. Also the number that shows up on your ID can be "spoofed", that is the robo system is set up to show a number that is chosen by the machine. Doesn't even have to an active number or even a real number.  This is the reason authorities have a real problem in determining who is really making the calls.

JoeNJ, I don't doubt anything you've said. I don't understand, though, that my government can track every financial transaction I make--no matter how small--but they can't figure out who's paying the bills for these scam calls. When I rule the world spam/scam calls are going to be felonies.

Does anyone know how to make it stop or where to report this BS?

business cell phone call came in that I did not answer...registered to Wells Fargo Advisors. I used to bank with WF so I suppose I am on their list, although I no longer have any accounts with them.

Do not call lists obviously have monkeys enforcing them, as being on the list ,certainly dosnt stop nuisance calls on my cell & never has stopped telemarketers in over seven years now.?

This number keeps calling me.  Message not left.  Just tired of all of the unwanted telemarketing calls.
I guess being on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY doesn't help or matter.
