- K| 5 repliesReceived call. Immediately recognized it as a scam. Caller ID displayed "NPF". What the heck is that???? A legitimate business would have a recognizable name. I blocked it immediately. However, whitepages.com rates this number as "HIGH" in scam or fraud!!!! Do not answer these calls

- Paul-C| 1 replyI received a call from this telephone number just as I was in the process of picking up the phone to make a call. I heard the recorded voice of "Ken ?????". I kept saying "hello". The machine responded with some phrase about continuing...but then disconnected.
Anonymous callback reached the none of our reps are available now....blah blah blah recording.- Caller: "Ken ?????"

- Frank SMy machine started to take an answer: "... how are you today?.... Are you there?" Rookie scammer wasn't on the line when the machine requested a message.

- Stan CI received a call from this number, but let it roll over to voicemail since I didn't recognize it. Caller didn't leave a message. The number is now blocked.
- BatmanBig Scam. Death penalty Approved .
- Steve in MACaller ID says "Omaha NE". I pick up. I am silent. Nothing on their end either. After a moment they disconnect the call.
I call back after business hours (using *67 to block my number). Their outgoing message appears to be a pretty good computer generated male voice. I hear, "Hello. None of our representatives are available right now. If you received a call from this number, we should contact you within the next day. If you believe you received this call by error, please, press 1 to be added to our Do-Not-Call list." (I never do this as it can actually make things worse)
Note the failure to identify themselves. A computer generated voice makes me doubt their skill with English. So they spoof their caller ID, and fail to identify themselves. Smells like a SCAM. - HankJust another Scam call.
- Caller: Scammer of the Day
- RobI don't normally answer calls from numbers I don't recognize but I know people in the 402 area code so I answered and was met by silence on the other end. Having now checked this site, I see it was likely some telemarketer. It's hard to sell people anything if they don't even say hello when the person they call actually does answer the phone!
- Caller: NPF
- VaOmaha ,NE. On caller ID ,no message , if I do not recognize the number I do not answer , same call just a different day .
- AnonymHit the answer button and use a fake accent saying, "sorry, we no got no computer, no call heah no moah"
- Caller: Omaha
- shortshort| 2 repliesI answered. He said something like (reading from a script). .. this is Phil from some police fundraising organization. Can I count on you to return a donation for the envelope I send out. I said no, and can you remove me from your calling list. He immediately hung up on me. Obviously a scam organization that may send a small percent to police but taking most of the money for themselves.
I called back and got this recording "If you received a call from this number, we should contact you within the next day. If you believe you received this call by error, please, press 1 to be added to our Do-Not-Call list." I pressed 1.- Caller: SCAMMERS
