Said something about court date in my county having to do with my S.S # and name. And to call them back at 402-682-7854

This PERSON has called my cell phone for the past three weeks. Using several different numbers. They leave threatning vm. But they never say who they are with or who they want to talk to. I have never been to Neb and I don't understand why they are bothering me. They keep saying that if I don't call them back they will send legal papers to my county. I live in Mo so not sure how that will work. It is nothing but a scam. Ignore them.

They jeep calling me.  Gave an Investigator Connie Wright .  Told them knew nothing about and Loan. Said they were filing papers for arrest warrant through my county and to govern yourself accordingly.

Call me saying have court documents for some outstanding debt threatening me with court and police coming to me door. All non sense I ignore the calls they continue anyway this number and many others.

For the last 3 weeks I have been receiving calls from this number to please call to speak to an investigator.  Called and state there was a warrant for my arrest for a loan that was taken out over 2 years ago.  Never applied for a loan and the person on the other end was a rude and as NASTY as anyone could ever imagine.  After I hung up he called back from an Ohio number of 614-385-7086......

The company is Portfolio Recovery. They are a well known scam collection agency. They purchase expired debts and attempt to scare people into paying them. They tend to purchase cheap throwaway cell phones then push calls through that number so they are always getting new numbers. As they found out by calling and lying to me - they really hate it when you call them back over and over again like they do. I just kept calling and telling them my name is Investigator Dan and I am calling about an important pending legal matter. The number is always an ohio number...they are now using 440 area code numbers as well. If they continue to harass you the company is Portfolio Recovery Associates and their main office is in Norfolk, Virginia and their main number is 800.772.1413. Feel free to call them repeatedly all day every day like they do us.
