- James| 1 replyI am tired of getting these calls, I know it is a scam, because I have read the laws that a debit collector has to follow and they are threading a person with fraud and this is wrong. When I asked for a notice of debit they told me they were sent to an address that I have not lived at in over two years and they would not send me one at my new address, this is harrassment and I just do not know how to stop these people, if they would send me proper paperwork and if it's mine, I would take care of it the best I could, I do not have a lot of money, because I broke my ankle in February and did not work as much as I normally do.

- Melissa| 1 replyI keep getting calls from these people, which I never answer, because I happen to know I don't owe anyone any money. If the threats don't stop, I'm going to call the AG's office in my state and turn them in. I keep blocking the number that they call from and then they change to a new number. This is getting ridiculous. They are trying to pray on peoples fears of being charged with fraud, but that's what I'm going to charge them with if this doesn't stop immediately. Everything that I have found about them online is that this is a scam and they are criminals. The name on the call is Jill Underwood, which I'm sure is an alias, not her real name. This started for me yesterday. I've just about had it with them. Don't believe them that you owe them money, IT'S A SCAM!!!!!!!!

- Greg F replies to MelissaI received several calls from this number over a period of about 2 weeks. Finally I got annoyed and answered. I was told I took out a loan with Chase Bank in 2013 which I know I NEVER did because i never did business with them, ever. Then the lady proceeds to say now that I have you on the phone I need to tell you that you are a facing 2 felony charges 1 is for applying for a loan and putting down a false bank accout, the other is for de-frauding a financial institution. I asked how much the loan was for she says between $300 and $800. What bank gives out a loan in such a low amount? that was my first tip this was a scam. The second was when I said ok, I need to see some documentation if you want money from me. Send me an email with my signature for this loan or money I owe. Her reply was "oh well we are to far along for that I am sorry" Are you f ing kidding me? You cant email me a copy of something showing or saying I did this, but you have the nerve to ask for $300 today or 2 felony charges are going out on me in my county the following day if I dont pay up. The woman said her name was Tina Powers, and I believe I got a call from a Jill underwood. I just got into a major car accident, broke half the bones in my body and dont need this. Please turn these people in if you know now. I can hardly walk and I need this, nor do I know who to call to stop them. If you do, please do it.

- Ann replies to BillThose are the same numbers that have called me. I block the numbers and a couple of days letter a new number will call. The last call I got said that if I didn't call them back noon they will file paperwork in my county. They need to get a REAL job!!
- Afua replies to MaddiPlease do not be afraid. These scammers want you to be afraid. They prey on the vulnerable. File a complaint with the federal trade commission at 1-877-382-4357 and also with the consumer financial protection bureau at 1-855-411-2372. These people are just trying to bribe consumers out of their money for debt that is not real or valid.
