Gallup Poll for sure.  I received an info card in the mail about 3 days ago.  It stated that they were interested in new people to take surveys.
Note this is the same Gallup Poll that you see in newspapers across the country.  The card also states that you can call or email them to stop the calls.

A male said he was calling from the Gallup Poll.  He asked me a number of questions to rate, on a 1-5 scale, my recent experience at a branch of my bank, which he named.  His last question asked me what percentage of my assets I kept in that bank. I did not know and did not say.  But what legitimate poll about a banking experience would ask me about my assets?

Gallop poll does not actually contact any body. Its a made up institution for news and political entities to sway people to their interest. This is a con report to police.

"Gallop poll does not actually contact any body."  I guess it was a figment of my imagination when I worked there for two years? Part of the matrix, maybe?

"Gallop poll does not actually contact any body."  Of course they don't, they call you up on the phone that way they don't have to come in contact with your body.  Wow, what institution did you escape from?

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal but as far as I know, Oregon is the only one that does not allow Charity calls.
