Ok. If you Google/check phone number 402-858-6248, you will see many complaints. 402-835-0550 is THE SAME LOSERS, now using a different number. Same old crap, 'Hi, this is Josh from Metamorphic Research Group, with a short survey.  I submitted a written complaint to the Nebraska Attorney General's Office, and the reply I received was, 'since this is a political call, they do not have to abide by the Do Not Call List'.  Uh, then WHY are these LOSERS, changing their phone #s???? I will now be contacting the Governor, and US State Senator's campaigns, since that is the 'survey', and tell them all that I will be voting for NONE of them, since they are apparently utilizing these LOSERS to conduct survey.  There is absolutely NO way to contact these LOSERS to tell them to STOP calling my house!!! I say we rally together and if you are in NE and receiving these calls, we ALL contact the candidates and overrun their phone banks with calls about these LOSERS!!

Per Governor Heineman's office, this auto-dialing is actually being done by a parent company of Metamorphic.  The parent company is American Liberty Group.  The Governor provided (800) 884-7071 as a contact number for American Liberty Group.  Their address is 611 Pennsylvania Ave SE, #227, Washington DC 2003.  Hope this helps.

What happens is the phone rings and when I answer no one (some thing?) isn't there. I'm the Do Not Call List as well and they are still able to call me, so how can that be right? We live in scary times when this kind of thing can happen and there are no answers!

Metamorphic Research apparently is a survey taker.
Surveyors are exempt from the DNC

The DNC list is intended to help stop calls originating from legitimate telemarketers.
* Your calls were not from legitimate telemarketers.
* Therefore, the DNC list will not stop those calls.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate, registered telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities, and companies with preexisting business relationships, as well as debt collectors, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.  Just think ... if there were no DNC, you would be receiving incessant calls from BOTH legitimate and scam telemarketing callers!

Remember, the FCC's Do Not Call site is a good one to report unwanted calls from LEGITIMATE telemarketers.   To report spammers and scammers, visit the FTC site, at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

If you receive calls even after reporting them (and waiting a sufficient time), then you should consider using a call blocker app, device or service as your first line of defense.  Google "call blocker" to see such things at Amazon or other sites.

This number has called over 20 times in 3 days and no one is on the other end and when you call it back it says there is no one to answer your call at this time.  This is so annoying and it is scaring my children.  Please help me make them STOP.

Calls repeatedly. Multiple times daily. Nobody on the other end.

Why don't you just block that number from calling?

At the very least they should be required to provide an accurate name in the caller id.  Unknown name is unacceptable.  The number provided on the screen is not necessarily the correct number.  If we cannot stop these calls, they should be required by law and technology to display accurate information.

Several calls in the last few days.

I just block the calls. Annoying to do, but it's less annoying than getting a phone call from these schmucks every 45minutes during the day.

My solution won't work for everyone. The only calls to my home line are telemarketers and my mother. My phone line was down for a while and I wasn't in a hurry to get it repaired since I use a cell phone. The quiet was amazing, after the line was repaired I left the phone unplugged from the caller id. It is sweet bliss. We have been conditioned to drop what we're doing and answer the ringing phone. Well no more. In my career with law enforcement I took tens of thousands of calls. Now I live for me. I don't run to answer a ringing phone from someone wanting to sell me something or scam me and neither should you. I only acknowledge calls from numbers I know. This number has called me four times today so far. I think it's funny. They're not disturbing my peace and quiet.

This number calls every day for sever weeks now.  No one is there. Please make them stop!

7 calls in three days.  When I answer no one responds.  When the machine pick up the recorded message begins - it's a survey that I am NOT interested in.  

I get multiple calls from this number every single day.  I tried call it back and left a voicemail which evidently was not heard.  I don't pick up when I see them on my caller ID screen, but I wish there was a way to contact them with a cease and desist order.

I keep getting calls from Josh and the phone number they leave for a contact number is 402-261-2927, says have to have an code to contact them - sick of these calls!!
