Want to place a sign in front yard, for a free in home security system worth 1200.00

I justed received a call (recorded message stated FBI noticed a high crime and will setup an alarm system if I let them place a sign in my yard; after they had entered you house and scoped your goods, right) on my cell (05-21-09 @ 1:28pm) and pressed "9" to place on the do not call list, I hope this works.  Anyway, has anyone took them up on the offer?

I've been receiving these calls from this number for weeks now.Same motto. Wanting me to set up an alarm system for free and all I have to do is place there sign in my yard. A new gimmic. Makes one wonder what ones will come up with next..

Just got a call from the same company, wanting to put a sign up in my yard. First of all it is probably a company who sells alarm systems for ADT or Brinks. Which, if you read a ADT add, if you sign up for a three year commitment, you will recieve a new alarm system for free ($1200 value). The sign I am sure is the sign you get when you purchase an alarm system in which you put in your front yard to warn people that your house is equipped with a alarm system. SCAMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! NOTHING IS FREE!!!!!

I just received a call from these folks.  While the system is free, the monthly monitoring charge is not.  But when I asked the person on the other end what the monthly fee was, she said, "I'm sorry.  I'm in training and cannot answer your question right now."  I said, "You need to put me on your 'do-not-call list' right now," and she just hung up.  Oops.  Was it something I said?

You know, the company is probably legit but they dupe people into signing up by the "free" offer (yeah, I agree that nothing in life is "free); and scare the Bjesus out of people with the FBI stats stuff.  In my case, I am in the highest crime city in the Commonwealth of Virginia but I knew that already.  What galls me is that these folks will probably end up scaring more people than helping.  But it's the free enterprise way that is the backbone of our economy. (And you say, "What economy)?  Indeed.

Called me on my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call registry.  Did not leave a message.  I am filing a complaint about them calling.

Called me at work, which is on the Do Not Call registry.  I said "Hello" and heard nothing, after a few seconds they hung up.  I filed a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry.

no message/I hate these kind of calls they should be banned and sent packing!

Received a call from 402-982-0705 yesterday on my cell phone but didn't answer it since I didn't know the number.

I'm receiving calls from them all the time, night or day, but I don't even answer the phone and they don't leave a message.  Very annoying. I placed my number on the do not call list but they continue to call and I also asked them not to call me but they continue to call.

402-982-0705, National Home Security Group,said we had made an inquiry online for their services.  We don't do that.

Rec'd a call last week, no message left. Since I didn't know the number & caller ID read "Unknown Caller", I didn't answer. I think I will call the above listed number, talk w/ "Ray" & get my number taken off the list. If that doesn't happen, I will file a complaint w/ the FCC. With any luck, maybe this place will call Charles Schumer in the middle of a Senate Hearing (like the auto warranty company did) & he will get this group off our tails.

I put all my phones on the list..Its a joke as I still get calls.  I got one from the name number you are reporting.  I got three calls today.

Telephone Calls from same number, no message left..Same motto. Wanting me to set up an alarm system.

The company comes up as OTO INC on my caller ID. I first searched the company name and it seems they use several different phone #s, but there's nothing about the company out there. I didn't answer, no message from them. I am on the DNC list but they have called several times.
