Got the same call a few moments ago.  I am on the do not call register and have filed many complaints with them about these same folks calling.  Can anyone tell me what good this agency does other than provide someone with another governmental salary that we can afford.  They certainly haven't remedied my complaints.

My caller ID said "International"----it is a credit card scam.  The initial response is a recording and if you want more info hit 1 or to opt out hit 2.  Either way you're connected to a live person.

Do not answer and do not call back. Once YOU make contact with THEM you're in their system and your number will be distributed. The DNC list is useless against these people; they are not in the US. They confirm your number with their call and your response, then sell the number in lists to other scammers. DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL THEM BACK! (Unless you're really lonely and just like to hear your phone ring...)

I receive calls from this phone number and I ask not to be called again.  I called the phone number, received a recording and was prompted to press "1" to be removed from the call list.

Unfortunately you must be the only one complaining to the DNC website.

One person filing multiple complaints does not do anything.
EVERY ONE MUST FILE A COMPLAINT WHEN THEY RECEIVE THIS CALL!   EVERYTIME YOU RECEIVE THIS CALL!

Its takes more than one person filing complaints to do anything.

As this is a scam  - CROOKS DO NOT FOLLOW ANY LAWS - so this is no major issue to the crooks, when their intent is identity theft and credit card fraud.

16 Ways you can be phone scammed.

Offers to Lower Your Interest Rates: The calls begin with a recording that makes a tempting offer to lower your credit-card interest rates. Then you are switched to a live agent who collects from you the credit card number and its expiration, name, address, and in some cases even your social security number. The telemarketers have no intention of giving consumers better interest rates on their cards and instead use the information to commit identity theft and run up unwanted charges.

Again, tracing these scam artists is difficult: they spoof the caller ID information and use numerous VOIP accounts set up using stolen credit cards. The best thing to do is hang up, report the call to FTC and warn others through 800notes.com.

The person stated "There are no problems with your credit card, but you must call us to lower your interest rate to 6%".  I hung up, but I do not appreciate these people calling when I am on the DNC list.

I had a call from 402-982-0721 today and decided to listen all the way through the recorded message.  There was an option to push #1 or #2 to speak to a representative, so I pushed #2 and waited to speak with someone.  However there was no one there, so I left a message for them that if they called my number again they would be in trouble as I am on the Do Not Call List in case I was being recorded.  Don't know if I was, but hope they get the message.

Tinner, you gave them your credit card numbers?  Seriously?  Yeah, if you did, call your card companies immediately and cancel all cards.  Oh, and duh.

Received automated call at 10:21 today. They offered to reduce credit card intrest to 6%. They also said that this offer would expire very soon.
When they advised "push #1 to continue", I hung up.
