Has been calling each morning when we're home.  If they're calling when we're not home, they don't leave messages.

Annoying caller

Called my cell....of course I didn't answer it since I had no clue where 402 area code is.  No message left.

Called 4 times. No message. Like Dave, I did not answer.

called 4 times yesterday, left no message.I don't know anyone in this area

Keeps calling about every 20 minutes for the last 24 hours. Since I don't know anybody in NE, I don't answer. No voicemail left. Probably just some [***] telemarketing computer hanging up. What they do is wait for YOU to return the call and guess what? YOU have just established a relationship where they now can legitimately keep calling YOU since YOU have called  them! Resist the urge and just ignore it.

Pissed off...I answer and there is no response and the person called like a kabillion times....ugh!!!!

just got a call from 402 982 0757.

being the daredevil that i am, i called back using *67, which apparently didn't hide my number. the recording said they were a market research co pedaling a survey and that the Do Not Call registry "does not limit calls from or on behalf of political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors." they then offered the opportunity to be taken off their list, which i accepted.

yesterday i got a call from 202 534 3124. googled it and found this here on this site:

given that the language use was identical to the call from 402, it is possible both calls were from the same company.

anyway, i used the opt out link offered by Eastern Research, as well. they both say give them 48 hours to get your number of their list.

we shall see.

whats up with all these phone calls waste of everyones time.-

The same thing, called on my cell about five times today.  When i picked up the phone they said that they are from insurance company (i already forgot the name) and  trying to take a survey. When i said OK,  guy hanged up... Weirdo....

They called 4 times in a 24 hour period.  I finally answered and they wanted me to do a brief survey.  When I asked how they got my number, the guy just repeated the request for me to do the brief survey.  Once I informed him that I am on the "National Do Not Call Registry", they quit calling.

Received a call from this number asking for my daughter. They just hang up when I said she was not available

They called and performed a phone survey. They did not ask any questions about my identity. I am as skeptical and cynical as anyone but I did not object to doing the survey. Afterall, anytime I hear opinion pole stats rattled off about America I always say "nobody called and asked me. " Well this time they did. And for ever 3 questions the woman on the phone asked me, I had one for her about ther company, Hart Research Associates (Peter D Hart Research Associates). She had to repeat some questions because I was googling them all the while. At the end of the day, the survey seemed fine and no questions were asked that I feel would compromise myself or my family.

They called and hung up... jerks.  Didn't even say anything... just hung up on me.

I think that the company is  CITISTREAM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. , which makes outbound calls for other companies or organizations.  I usually pick up the phone, let them go through their script, then tell them to wait that someone is at my door.  I set the phone down, and come back about 5 min later and hang it up.  That usually gets them to quit calling! ;)

It is Roper doing polling. They need people, with children ages 13-24 who are living at home, to do a public opinion survey.

Received a call from 402-982-0757 on my cell.  No message left.

Calls at Noon and 5pm daily, never leaves a message.

would like who ever is calling from this company to stop!!!!!
