    annoyed
Recieved a few numerous missed calls with no messages from this landline Omaha, NE (Douglas County) based number shortly after being harrassed by this number (616) 980-1152 which is also a fraud/scam number quickly being reported by others. Not sure how many of these numbers they have but I would suggest avoiding these two. The carrier for the line is "Citystream Communications,Inc". Hope this helps anyone else being harrassed.

Got a call from 402.982.0780 from guy from "Vista Serivces". He reports my use of my credit card and the card's last four digits. Then says this call is not regarding that purchase but they are sending out a $100 gift card for gas. He proceeds to ask me if I still lived in the same city(to which he did give the name of). I said I am comfortable giving out personal information. Now the guy gets annoyed and says what personal information, I have all your information, I told you what city you lived in. I asked what else is this call regarding? He replies, nothing, that will be all.

    who the heck was that?
same number called me. After I avoided the number the first time, I answered the second time after thinking it might be important. They asked me "if this was (my name)" and as soon as I confirmed that it was, they hung up.....I hope I am not gonna get scammed somehow.

    strange #
Someone called once in the morning and once in the evening, but I missed both calls. When I called the # back it won't go through. Suspicious...So I got online and saw that other people have been called by this same number. I wonder what scam is going on.

This is a long post but worth it, I think . . .

This # just called my direct line at work, said they were "Vista Services" and calling in regards to my Mastercard ending with # xxxx (he rushed it so I'm not if it was the right number of my card, but I assume so - SCARY!).  Anyway, he said they're sending me information in the mail about a discount program with $120 in gas vouchers which I can keep even if I don't keep the service, which is $29.95/month for great discounts everywhere (named some random restaurants and such).

I said, "so you're calling to tell me you're going to send me something in the mail?"  and he said "yeah" and I said, "well, thanks for the heads-up" and he said there would be a click as he transferred me to his manager to confirm my info.  I told him there was no way would I confirm anything with some stranger calling me on the phone, and he said "what, you don't want to save money?" in a really rude way, and when I said "I guess not" he said "don't you need the gas vouchers?" and I said "no I live in Manhattan and don't have a car", and he screamed "WHAT DOES THAT MEAN YOU LIVE IN MANHATTAN?!?!" and I said "it's called the subway, haven't you ever heard of manhattan?" and he yelled "DON'T YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO DRIVE YOU AROUND IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR?" and I said "yeah, they're called taxis" and then he just degenerated into incoherent ranting as to the impossibility of anyone not needing gas vouchers and I hung up on him.

Whoever said these people are like you and me, you have to be kidding.  He's consciously trying to scam people and that was an attempted identity theft and he should be in jail.  I have no way to track him down so I guess I'll just have to hope kharma will take care of him.

The same number called me.  He reported the last 4 digits on my credit card.  He said the call did not regard my account but began to say something about 100$ in gas cards.  I told him im not interested but he proceeded to say he was gonna send me something in the mail.  I told him i did not want to receive anything and i did not want to confirm my address. He kept talking so i said "dont send me sh*t, I'm not interested, F**k you" and hung up.  I called my cell phone carrier to have the number blocked. I have been having multiple instances of this with other numbers.  It might be time to change my number.  Dont give them any personal information.  Out of safety too, i had my credit card canceled b/c of these phone calls.  My credit card company is issuing me a new card number.

I just got a call from this number and didn't answer the phone...no message left.  If I don't recognize a number, I don't answer the phone.  From what I see here it sounds like a scam.

I just got the same call from the same number!! I had the exact same scenario and when they "transferred me over to their mail services", they said the whole thing again and said the last four digits of "my card" again and I said, "wait, that's not my card" and he asked me if I would like to tell him my new card number because it was necessary to send me the gas voucher.  I said that I didn't think that was a good idea and apologized for wasting his time and he promptly hung up.
This IS SCARY!  Spread the word!  Do NOT trust people who ask you for important information over the phone, especially if THEY call YOU!

I live in Atlanta GA. Same thing just happened to me.  Caller said they were from Vista Services. Promised me $125 in gas vouchers.  Said it would cost 2.99 to ship them and then I would need to call the 800 number that came in the package to "opt out" of the $29.99 a month program.  At that point I said no, I'm not interested, don't send me anything.  The guy got pretty angry, and kept at it. He did have the last 4 digits of my OLD bank card. I had some fraudulent charges on my account a few months ago, and canceled that card. Never gave him the chance to ask me for a new number.  Finally had to be pretty rude, and he said something equally rude and hung up on me.

BEWARE: I'm sure this is a scam.  And anyone with elderly parents, please call and warn them. This sounds like something my mom would think was a great deal ($125 in gas vouchers for just $2.99!)

So for the past week now I've been getting calls from this number. Usually it's while I'm at work and I can't answer. They called again while I was grocery shopping and when I picked up, no one was there. I must have said hello 10 times. I was very curious. Of course when I call the number back it's the same thing, the number you are trying to reach cannot be dialed.. in a creepy robotic female voice. Now I just got another call 10 minutes ago and decided to look it up on here and found this page. Crazy!

Have received numerous calls lately on my Magic Jack line which unfortunately I never thought to place on the do not call list before now. Today there were about six calls, so I finally answered and he said "is david there" and I asked who was calling. He gave a name (maybe Greg--not sure he talked fast) and said he was from Vista Marketing. I told him he needed to stop calling this number, to which he replied "don't be a moron, that's not going to happen until david gets this message." At that point I told him "f*ck You, I'm reporting you" and hung up. For the next 30 days I will leave my magic jack unplugged and let any calls go to voicemail, since it seems this guy doesn't leave messages, so I'll never know. Fortunately I also have a land line which is how most people reach me. After that point, if I get more calls I can report him to the do not call list website. If you registered on the list 31 or more days ago, report him NOW! Thanks.

    david again
Forgot to mention, I called the number back and got a recording saying "you've reached customer service" (but no company name). Recording said to leave amessage with the number I was calling about (right, so I can get more of these calls). I'm amazed that something isn't done with all these complaints against the same company or scam shop, whatever it is.

Forget the Do Not Call list, this guy is a scam artist. I just reported him to the Federal Trade Commission. You can do the same online at http://www.ftc.gov/phonefraud and help shut this guy down! Thanks.

These are not nice people. After getting mutiple calls from 517 area code, 616 area code and just now a 269 area code and looking the numbers up on here they all appear to be the same company.
Do NOT give them any information. Apparently they have the last 4 numbers of 1000's of peoples cards and are calling trying to trick you into giving the full number.

Good luck everyone and just DON'T ANSWER!
