Called from a list I subscribed to on interest rate reduction. After speaking with the guy on the phone, I was convinced it was a scam, however, I was impressed that they were able to take my interest rate from 24% to 12%! I could not do this by calling on my own, and one of the only interest rate reduction companies that actually worked and paid for itself

receiving numerous calls from these idiots, no one talks though, putting our phones on 'donotcall.gov' registry, to see if this helps, how can the FTC allow this type of harassment?????????????

kept asking for me-i kept asking who is this-just last week i filed a report with the FTC about another number-it does no good-to be on do not call list.

402-982-0818 called me 7/15/2010. Did not answer, caller did not leave voice message. I am on donotcall.gov, but whoever is making these calls is obviously not concerned about that.

forgot to mention, the number comes up as originating in Omaha, NE

Called on 8/6...left a message that it was a Dan Miro. Gave a different call back number- 216-763-2156. Not calling back...but called me by my nickname, not my formal first name. (like Bill instead of William).

Spam or phishing call somewhere in US or Other part of the country using alias number: 402-982-0818. Put these guys out of business permanently, lock up (military prison) and hefty fine.

Got a call from this number - I did not pick up as I did not recognize the area code - am pretty sure it was a solicitor.  I know NOBODY in that area.  NO message was left.

I got a call from this no. too, just yesterday, 08/23/2010.  I was not at home when the call came through and would not have answered the phone even if I had been home; I do NOT answer calls from people or numbers that I do NOT know NOR recognize!

Caller ID says HEALTH ALERT so for certain it's some sort of scam trying to scam people into buying phony health insurance or something of that nature.

I just want them to REMOVE my no. from their list and leave me the HELL alone!  I would not buy insurance (health or otherwise) from scamming companies that call just anybody at RANDOM and noone even knows who the hell they are in the first place.

Just received call 8/30/10 at 5:31PM EDT. I was on another call, ignored incoming on call waiting. Would not have answered anyway, as I do not know anyone in Omaha, NE. No voice message left. Will go to donotcall.gov and register a complaint against this number, as I do with all the others.

I   have received 15+ calls from 402-982-0818.  The first 8-10 times I didn't answer. Listed as Health Alert on caller ID.  I have told them EVERY time that we are on the No Call List.  They always use the same script. . .ask to speak to my husband because he has requested this information online.  Total lie.  My husband never has used the computer and never intends to do so.  When caught in this lie, they say I must have done it.   No one (I hope) would buy insurance or whatever scam they are using over the phone with a stranger.  So why do they not hang up but keep arguing?  Perhaps they are paid by the amount of time they keep someone on the phone.  They must be hoping that you are that one person who will fall for their scam.   Some are okay some are exceedingly rude.  They say they won't call back and yet still do.  I called the Missouri Attorney General's office today and left the message to report this number and Health Alert.  Indeed, what do no call lists mean?  I also wish political robocalls didn't have a loophole on the no call list.
