Received a call from this number. Not sure how it is. I called back and got a busy signal. Hmmmm. They didn't leave a message so oh well.

Called my cell.  No message.

Left message about car warranty expiring - certainly a scam. Then got call from 276-940-1116 : didn't pick up, no message.

10:16 am PST left no message just bothering my privacy. I Called back and got a computer answering machine asking if I wanted to be put on there do not call list press 1 done than it said allow 48 hours for processing! Great hope they don't make a dime for there trouble!!

208-783-0733 is another call of same type. these calls are annoying

computer saying that the warranty on your automobile is about to expire (sorry guys, i don't own a car).  does not give company name.  clearly a scam!

Time to action outside of legal system.  A small arms bullet into a non-critical part of the body the first time, a larger round with more determination to end the calls if it happens again.

It's illegal for telemarketers to call cell phones.  I haven't heard of them breaking the "no-cell-phone" law.  Therefore, I agree this is a scammer.

Glad to see this webpage, to confirm that this phone number is calling other people besides me, too.

I didn't answer, either.

Lesson learned from email-spam: Don't answer.  Don't call back.  Don't call back and dial "1."  Don't confirm [for them] that your phone number is active.

In summary, add your cell phone number to the Do Not Call Registry.

Then, when you get a telemarketing call (or scam) to your cell phone, you can send a complaint via the internet.

I'm not sure how much good is done by filling out their webform, but at least you'll feel a little better for complaining...

I just used the Do Not Call Registry phone number (1-888-382-1222) to register my cell phone.  The process was automated.

Registration takes 31 days before it's effective, so I couldn't report the 402 phone number.

The automated computer also mentioned that you can call the same number (1-888-382-1222) to register a complaint (once your registration becomes effective).

same thing with my call to my cell phone.   but my car is in warranty as it's new!

They call several times per day. Since I don't recognize the number I say nothing when I pick up the phone. They say nothing, there is no computer message, they just hang up and call again every couple of hours. I called back and got automated voice saying I'd reached customer service and to leave name and number and they'd call back.

I have been getting a call from this # and another 402# for days straight.  It's so annoying. They do not leave any messages and I'm for sure not going to pick up.

They called and didn't leave a message on my work blackberry - i called the number back and was instructed to press 1 to be taken off the call list.

These idiots actually kept calling me after I cursed them out for trying to sell me health care insurance. All this after I have submitted my business phone number to be placed on the do not call list. We need to shut these cowards down before they get hurt!!!

These idiots called me 11 times today and after I became belligernt with them they began to call me a "[***]" over and over again and cracked several "[***]" jokes. I have to answer my phone because it is a business line. One of the fools pretended to be a Supervisor looking into the matter, he stated that his name was Roger Daltry and that he worked for Vandelay Industries. I found the following information on that company...

I looked up the 402-982-0885 number and it is tied to a landline carrier in Omaha, NE.

If anyone can publish the real name of this company it will be very useful in filing direct complaints with the appropriate authorities.

Next time please pretend like you are interested in their services and get the company's name and location if possible. We can then proceed to shut them down! Publish their name here so others can file individual complaints with the BBB and cops for placing harrasing phone calls which is illegal!
