I have been receiving calls from this numbers while @ work. According to the phone company this number has been calling my house 2-3 times a day. I know it is telemarketing # based out of Alberta. Not sure how else to track it?
I've been called by this number too. The lady asked for the home-owners, when I asked if I could take a message she snapped "Yeah, this is Telus and you can get them to call us back" and then she hung up on me. I woudn't have thought anything about it (or (*69ed it to be sure) if she wasn't so rude to me.

it is Xentel Canada.. the calgary based building.(i use to work their). their is one in edmonton and calgary and a few other places... if they call your work number say put me on the (NDNCL) National Do Not Call List... they can not call you again once you say this.. and if they dont agree.. ask to speak to the manager and be put on..
if they continue to call after NDNCL has been said.. then you can charge them with harrasment...
i have already.. i quit due to negligence... and they now call me house 3 to 5 times a day..
We have been getting this number as a *69 caller when we check the number that called you last. Very annoying and no info provided. Today this number has called twice.
this number belongs to telus. When called from it, it is their telemarketing department. to stop the calls, simply call telus at the privacy department and request to be removed from the list.
I asked to be removed form this list yesterday and she said yes but tell me why. I said I was not interested in changing my services from shaw and hung up. They called me again today when I wasn't home!!!!
I received nuisance calls from the same number. Thanks to Serena's post above, I called the Telus privacy # at 1-800-567-0000. After sorting through the automated menus a real person answered and promised to remove my number from the Telus marketing system.
I have had several of these calls also over the past few weeks, so today I called the 800 number. I did not wait too long before a real person came on the line and she said she would remove my cell number from the list. She also advised me that it might take up to 31 working days to get your number onto the "do not call" list with Telus. Hopefully that will be the end of the calls from 403-310-2255.
I have had telus call me frequently after owning my Number for 4 months, and after I just got "my number" that DAY, I put my phone # on the DNC national list for CANADA, and since telus is a friggen CANADIAN company, they have broken the law period.
I have never subscribed to telus, never gave them my NEW #, ever.
They are illigally calling me, never leaving messages, never doing jack s**t.
I've sent their PRIVACY@TELUS.COM an email, and god help the poor person who has to READ IT....
I have never subscribed to Telus phone service, however their internet counts.. Sigh.. So if you have this service then they have no actually broken the law b/c they call it "customer care" not recruiting a new customer. I still call it crap but whatever. If this is the case for u also, the 800 # is fast, efficient and actually pretty friendly!
403 310 2255 just called. I didn't answer. I never answer 1 800 or 1 888 or 1 866 numbers. I hate answering private numbers also. I'll answer payphone numbers and numbers I might remember. I get a dozen calls a day from the telemarketers I really hate it so much. There just as bad as credit card salesmen who pick you out of a crowd in the mall. NO! 24.9% interest rate is not a good rate.
This is a strange one. 310-2255 is Telus, and I think no matter where you are in Canada you can call and get through. However, I got two calls on my cell phone, one on Feb 27 and one on Feb 28 from (403) 310-2255, which I answered because I thought it was Telus. It wasn't anyone, just dead air. I've also gotten a number of calls from the (403) 310-2255 number on my house phone, and same deal - if I answer, no one's there.
Call display shows "Telus" and they are now calling 4 - 5 times a day. This is harassment and I'm sick and tired of dealing with telemarketers on a daily basis!!!!
just gotta call, thought i'd pick it up even after reading this. it's an automated message to confirm any appointments you are expecting w/ Telus. It took a while for the message to kick in, so that explains the dead air. For me, this appointment was expected.
This is a legitimate call from Telus, about appointments or just to check and see if everything is going well with a new service ( to save/cost you money). If you call the number (in 587 & 708 also) you get the Telus telephone help desk.
*57 is call trace! I have started using it because I get between 6 and 10 calls a day! No one is ever on the other end!!!!! I am too busy for this nonsense!!
