No voice.

They said it was Fido, offered  free phone....

no voice calls, computer randomly generate number and dialled it, if any one pick that call, computer mark that call "yes" and also computer mark the receiver as "male or female" by looking at the pitch level of that receiver voice. Then computer/company forward/sale that number to advertisement companies.

Its a Fido call, it is to offer a free phone, they've called me like 3 times today. >-<

I just received the call.  They said they were Rogers and offered me a free phone for my years of service.  Will call Rogers to confirm it was a legitimate call.

A woman called to offer three free phones plan for $100/month, I refused it; then she offered two phones for three years talk free betweeen the two phones $70/month. A guy called my daughter told her the plan to ask jion it.

The caller background was noisy and had heavy accent.

this guy posed as a rogers rep to offer a free second phone and said I would get free added features on my plan. called rogers and the rep said it was bu***hit! watch out because you will get dinged for the long distance charges from that call in alberta.

Just received a call, sounded like male caller.  Asked caller to hold a second while I moved to a quieter location.  Call disconnected.  Tried to call the number back and was busy.  Pursued it this far because my cell number is for emergency's only and not listed to the general public.  Now I find the number is likely some scammer!

Call to my work cell #. No message left. Thanks for the heads up re a possible scam. Checked this out rather than place a long distance call on a work cell.

Are others on a Rogers network.  If they are, it may set off alarms to Rogers themselves.

Over a two week period I received 12 phone calls from some guy named Sebastian, claiming to work for Rogers Wireless, at this number.  I hung up on him repeatedly after saying I was not interested and he called me right back.  Last phone call was last night when he left a message saying that he was going to "increase my bill".  Called Rogers and the only help they could give me is that they would make a note to have my name taken off of the "promotions" list.

A guy with a thick East Indian accent called me.  The same number had called twice previously and did not leave a voice mail.  He said he was calling from Rogers and giving me a free cel phone because I was a loyal customer. They asked me for personal account information, telling me that I had to give it to them because they were the Rogers Promotion department and didn't have access to this information from Rogers for privacy reasons.  I refused to give this information to them.  I said I am not prepared to disclose personal information over the phone, and how do I know you are even Rogers?

Dead space. Somebody needs to get a life.

A man with an East Indian accent has been harassing us from this number. He claims to be from Rogers and is offering a free cellphone. He then proceeds to ask for personal information. Total scam!!!! Somebody make him stop. He has called every single person with a Rogers cellphone in my household and Rogers can't/won't do anything about it.
