they called about my bf's exbox 360 live and asked if it was still not working!??
It was weird that we called for that problem like a month ago and it was a 1-800 one NOT local!
It was a girl wioth deep voice!

rang phone twice, hung up

someone called from this number and asked if I had a website..
I of course gave her the details. Weird.

It was a lady with a deep voice and said "Yes, um, do you have a website for your business"

Came up on my call display earlier this week at my business. I answered because it's a local number, thinking it was a customer. It was a woman on the phone and she asked for my dad. I told her he wasn't in at the moment and asked if she'd like to leave a message. She didn't want to and said she'd trying calling back another time. Today she calls again and asks for my dad. I told her he wouldn't be in for a couple more hours and would she like to leave a message. She declines and says she'll call back another time. Not even an hour later, the number comes up on my call display again. This time, it was a male with a heavy accent. I couldn't understand a word he was saying because he was mumbling into the phone. I asked him to repeat himself several times before I understand that he was looking for the owner. I identified myself as one of the owners and he proceeds to mumble into the phone again. Not one word of what he said was audible. I told him I couldn't understand what he was asking and he doesn't say anything. I know he didn't hang up because I could hear noise in the background. I said Hello a few times and he never responded, so I hung up the phone.

I got a call from this number on 02/24/09 - they stated that they were doing a survey for broadcasting and asked all sorts of weird questions like how many TVs I have, how many people live in the house, then they asked for my address - which I wouldn't give them.  The next day, some weird guy came over wanting to come in and do a survey regarding broadcasting - he was very pushy and was nearly insisting we do this survey telling me there would be benefits and I would get paid. Since my husband was not home, there was no way I was letting him in.

This number just called me AGAIN (I posted above on Feb. 26th). This time I had a male with a heavy accent, but I could actually understand him. He asked to speak to the owner. He said he was calling from some website company and wanted to know if we had a website. I told him no and then he started talking about website. I told him I wasn't interested. He kept talking, so I actually yelled at him that I wasn't interested again and that he should put my number on his do not call list and not call me anymore. Then I hung up on him. Honestly, if you say you aren't interested, that should be enough. How do these people live at night knowing they harass people for a living?

my caller sounded like a younger fellow. was calling for some one by my first initial and last name. when I pressed him as to who he was calliing to speek to he elaborated that he diodnt know the persons name and began listing off names that began with that initial. I couldnt make out the company name beyond "blahblah TORRENT blahblah" but to be honest, I really didnt care, (I only answered it because it looked local).  I told him I wasnt Interested in whatever he was selling, he said he wasnt selling anything and I has won something. My sarcastic "REALLY?! still not interested." must have tipped him because he said something like : "whatif it's a million dollars" in a smart*ss tone. MY response: CLICK.

Called me three times in two minutes and it sounds like a fax coming through the line.

I have been receiving faxes (or at least that's what I think the beeps are)  to my cell phone from this number.  When I tried to fax them back to tell them to stop, the fax line always is busy.  It will not accept incoming faxes.
Then I noticed the same number on my land line.  I had received a call from someone wanting to do a survey on broadcasting and wanted to know our TV viewing habits.  I tried calling, but of course the number does not accept incoming calls.  
If we have a do not call registry in Canada, can we not report these numbers?

Had the 403-488-4099 call and she asked for someone who doesn't even exsist....I wasn't friendly and hung-up!  I then get a second call of which I didn't answer....They left a message AGAIN for a NON EXSISTENT person  FRED something or other..about some cable survey we agreed too!!! WHATEVER...there is no FRED 403-488-4099 so becareful of this #!!!

I know who this call center is.  They sell ads for Maple Leaf Publishing who does school safety books, Anti-bully Books, anti-drug that are free publications handed out in schools.  They gather ads for each school District and if you even show an iota of interest, they continually harass you without stop.  I purchased an ad 3 years ago in their Antibullying Booklet for my business (very expensive for what you get) they autobilled me the next year after calling my business and talking to one of my employees, explaining they were just confirming my order with phone number and address info, and when I received bill they said they had recorded consent to renew. I listened to their recorded consent message and told them that the person on the phone was not a signing officer of the company and even if they called them for this ad to be put in their Booklet my company was not liable. I had to fight with them threaten legal action and finally they agreed to leave me alone but never have even with the threats to have law involved.  For instance @ this time since October 13, 2009 until 10:16 a.m. today, I have received 49 calls to my business and cell phone in total.   Stay AWAY from these people who are the call center representing this company!

This number has seriously called me about 25 times in the last 2 weeks. I refuse to pick up because it's not a number I recognize. There's only been 2 times where they've left a message, and it was just silence.

If I can find who 403-488 4099 is im gonna choke'em out with thier own phone cord .They need to stop calling me 5 times a day.

I tried calling these losers back cuz they have called my house so many times - all I get is a busy signal.  Must be some kind of scam artist.  If I actually get a call when I'm home they will get a blast that might break an eardrum.  God!  I hate [***] like this!  What the heck is the do not call list for?

Called here twice yesterday and left a weird message! Obviously something is going on with this # and it's not a legitimate business. I'm posting because in the past 2 days have gotten 3 calls that are starting to sound like scams! Not just from this particular # and they are all showing up as local #'s

I got a call from this jack-ass. He wasn't trying to scam me. He simply threatened my family. I am going to the cops but if anyone finds out who he is let the rest of us know.

I'm not pissed at this guy as much as I'm pissed at Telus, Bell etc. It appears they have no control over their network.

We have had two calls from this number today. The first time when I answered and said hello there was only silence, then a click as if they were hanging up. The second time we were not at home and luckily have no answering machine for them to waste my time on. No idea what or who they are; however, the air horn is waiting for the next time they call!

if you have shaw, u can block any number from calling u again....after u hang up , pick up the phone again then do *60..then press #01# and it will block that number from calling again!
