Have gotten this call twice this afternoon. No message left, and since I'm not the only one getting this call I assume it's not legitimate.

Tried reverse directory...nothing comes up.
Aliens?

left any message (I don't answer unless i know who it is)

received call if you stay on the line its from a charity looking for used clothing donations.

Because I'm expecting 403 calls I answered this one by mistake. Someone with a Southern-fried accent. Hung up.

Twice this afternoon this number called. Glad I didn't answer if it's a marketing call.

Got a call but I was outside raking leaves and they left no answer. Hopefully not the Republicans asking if I voted and did I need a ride to the poling station.

got a call from this phone number. picked it up. a click as if they hung up right away.

they called my # and when my answering machine picked up, it disconnected.

I called - they answered as Alberta Association for Community Living and pointed out that I am on the Do Not Call Registry. I think they are a legitimate charity and have agreed to take me off their list.

Looking forTook them a minute or so do say anything after I picked up. It is The Alberta Community Living Association looking for donations. The man on the other line was some what pushy even after I told I had nothing to donate. I really don’t at this time. Anyway, He kept trying to verify my current address wish I would not do because it was pointless to verify anything if a had nothing to donate.

After getting 2 anonymous phone calls that just hung up, I got 2 more from from different people claiming to be from the Alberta Association for Community Living. Both had heavy East-Indian accents.  My guess is that the Robocalls were generated by a call center in India or Pakistan.

The call does not include a human contact at the beginning or end as required.

No specific number or method is announced to have your number removed.

My understanding is that canvassing for donations using this method is unlawfull

Got this call 3 times today, once yesterday

This number shows up as "Unknown Name" in our call display. I recognized it as a number that has been calling frequently and actually traced the number of times it had phoned our home recently. It phoned here today, yesterday, the day before (twice), the day before that, and a week before that (twice).

I noticed some posts saying it was a donation request for Community Living. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate organization or if it's folks trying to get some easy cash by taking people's donations to a pawn shop?

This is a legit organization but they get paid by th enumber of calls they make.  They are calling me 2 or 3 times every day & when I pick up there is dead air & when I try to return the call it is a number that does not accept calls.  I have called the regional office (403.717.0361) to complain because I have a newborn baby & I ensured the operator heard the baby screaming as the phone woke him up.  Because they are a charity they can call even though my name is on the National Do Not Call list but they have agreed to take my name off the list of people they call.  Their website is: http://www.aacl.org/contact-us/contact-us/
