Got a call today from this number, a man who spoke English (?) in a hard to understand voice with an accent that I was totally unfamiliar. He was saying something about a holiday ....  mastercard  ... but he needed my shipping address....blah blah blah. I asked him several times if he was calling from India but he kept on talking. I insisted in him telling me if he was in India and what language he was talking. After insisting 3 or 4 times, he said he was in Florida. I told him I wasn't interested in whatever he had to say and to put me their do not call list. I didn't give him any information whatever, of course, and hung up.

Yup, me too... just a few minutes ago ... got a call from a very hard to understand female who identified herself as "Mary Smith" and said she was calling on behalf of VISA/Mastercard/and something else stating that I had been selected as a winner for a trip.  I told her "I don't think so...take a hike" and hung up and went straight to the computer and googled the number on my ID Box.  I also put the "hex" on her and her kind and am still doing so ##@!!&**%$##!!!!  Wish the telephone companies/RCMP/international organizations could get a handle of these idiots!!!

I got a call from this guy who was really hard to understand - I wish I could block that number or something...

I just got a call from this number.  The person asked to speak with my husband (by name) and when I told them he wasn't home, the guy said "When's he gonna be back?".  Very think accent and not very polite.  I said my husband might be home in a couple of days, and then asked who was calling.  He wouldn't answer my question and eventually the line went dead.  Rude, rude, rude... Next time they call I won't bother to be polite.  I *69'd them to get the number since we don't have call display.

2nd time when they called me and I told them 2 go [***] thmeselfs....
He told me hes original from Egipt,but his name was PETER AUSTIN!:)))))))

1-403-648-9228 called me. They are a mastercard scam wanting to lower your interest rate. I clued in before giving any harmful information, and hung up on the guy. He also had a HEAVY accent - could barely understand him. After I hung up he called me back 2 times ---must be desperate to get my credit card information.

Automated message to lower my credit card interest.  Options to press for customer service and never spoke to any live person.

caller phoned at 11:50am, didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer. Weird message left, unable to understand what 3 words were muttered? person then hung up.

man they got to stop 3 times in 2 day i told them off every time hahahahah

The "Supervisor" is a big liar called Justin Bourn.  They ARE rude people and they claim to me from MCS "Master Card Services".   Report Them please, they are as fake as the Easter Bunny.

I had a man phone today first from a BC area code and ask me questions saying he would lower my credit card interest rate. When he wouldn't confirm the company he was with I said that if he wasn't calling from my bank I didn't want to continue the conversation. He had a strong east indian accent and was hard to hear. He called me back from an Ontario area code and put me through to the 'senior financial advisor'. I asked him who he was senior financial advisor for and he said Credit Card Consumers Advocate. Then he asked me to verify my name and I said I wouldn't until I knew who they were. They did already know my name and street address when they called.
Not sure who it really is but seems very suspicious.

i only get telemarketer/scam calls ever 4-6 weeks. no matter what the scam is (credit card, vacation, security system sales) the calls all seem to bunch together with in a two day window.  then pause for 4-6 weeks and it starts over again.

do not call requests don't work.

There are wolves among us! Haha the scanners posted two identical messages about how awesome their service is, and gave thumbs down to everyone but themselves.

The number is a credit card scam. But I'm sure they have diversified.

I pressed 9 to continue to an operator to tell them to take me off their list, and the indian guy just hung up.

If you get this call, continue to the operator and onleash on him! Even Indian people are still people underneath, so crush him. Make him hate his job and himself!!

Got call at 1305 CST. Recorded message saying that "there was nothing wrong with my mastercard or visa but press 1 to get a lower interest rate". Hung up. I don't even own any credit cards!! SCAM!!!

They called me today and claimed to be from MasterCard Services. I don't have a MasterCard so I was suspicious and hung up. Canadians should report all telemarketing fraudsters to the RCMP. They have a program called PhoneBusters that's collecting data on fraudulent calls like this.

Missed a call from 403-648-9228, so I called back only to hear this heavy indian accent claiming he is Robin Gibbs, a verification Officer calling on behalf of CCCA or FCCA; and tried to offer me a lower interest rate (2.5%)on my Visa or Mastercard. Pretty pushful, saying that if the line cut I should call him back on that number with ext. 266. He asked for my mailing address and nationality so, I dropped the call.
