- daveCaller I.d. shown from: schmitke harvey.
- BobI'm in London, England, and this number keeps calling. Driving me nuts!
- Sailor861This was a telemarketing scam from a "boiler room" in India (presuming the accent of the caller), informing me of the "WHY-russ" on my computer and that he was able to fix it for me. I led him on, briefly, although he apparently had a hearing deficiency but, more likely, it was the quality of the call, or the "Marvin Mellowbell" diction I had temporarily adopted. I terminated the call and he called back two more times, both with insults. The last time, I asked whether he enjoyed textual intercourse with goats or chickens, or both, and informed him I would be forwarding details of the call to the Do Not Call List, which has been done. He said, in parting, he hoped I would get well soon. Such a nice fellow.
- Caller: unknown name
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Silver BearI am sick and tired of these scam calls. surely there is a way to track them and charge them, for harassment and fraud. How many millions do they get from the elderly, young, and inexperienced.
- JimAnother company identifying themselves as Microsoft. As soon as I heard this I hung up. Microsoft does not make these kinds of calls. The caller could barely speak English and spoke with a very distinct and easily recognizable Asian accent.
- Caller: ???
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Jeff SchauffAs soon as I picked up the phone just hung up as I have now stupidly told someone when I was home to answer.
- davethreatening call from this number
- JJ| 1 replyThis number, Indian accented gentlemen, aka Alex shaw?, said from Microsoft.
Threatening phone call to block my computer. Has phone repeatedly today- Caller: "Microsoft"
- Tamianth replies to JJConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
