THIS IS A SCAM which involves RANDOM DIALING. No one gave out or sold your phone number, it is just a bot dialing random numbers until they get one that works.
Air Canada and WestJet are NOT affiliated or involved in any way. They are aware of the issue and investigating it.

I live in Regina Saskatchewan. I received a call from this number this morning and missed it. There was no message left, and when I tried calling the number back, it said that the number that was dialed was not in service. I've received many calls where there is a machine telling me I have won something like a trip or money. I always hang up and ignore those types of calls.

I got a call not more than 10 minutes ago about this number, I'm from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I picked it up and it was silent on the other end.

haha I live in stoon to. I just got a call like 5 mins agol. Its a scam.

I'm in Kitchener, ON and got the same BS. Didn't pick up.

I live in Saskatoon.  Just got a call from this number and did not pick it up as I did not recognize it.  Thought I would investigate who it was from and would return the call if it was from someone I knew,.  But its not!

It appears they are back at work - just got a call at 11:24am on October 6, 2010

I live in Regina, got this call, waited on the line until they hung up and then called WestJet letting them know that this is going on and apparently they are aware of it.

I'm from Grande Prairie, Alberta and I got this call.  Didn't answer cause I don't know anyone from southern Alberta area (403).

Claims that I've won a Westjet reward. I pressed one and a female asked if I was over 25 and had a valid credit card. When I replied yes to both I was connected to Jamaican sounding male saying I'd won a vacation and asked my name.  I hung up as I knew this was a scam from the beginning, just wanted to see what would happen. Companies giving free things would call from their own offices and never ask for credit card information.

Received a call from this number on the 4th in Calgary. Had a feeling it was a scam

got a call about 10 minutes ago, its oct 7, 2010 and i'm in Vancouver, didnt answer, and they never left a msg, called back, number, not in service !!

I got a call on my cell at 12:45pm today Oct. 7, 2010.  Didn't answer the call and no message was left.  Would like to know who this is and how they got my cell number which I don't give out to just anyone.

got a call from this # at 3:35pm Oct 7. I'm in London, ON.  Automated voice said to press 1 to claim my prize because I was a valued Westjet customer.  Recognized it as a scam from Twitter.  Hung Up.

Just got a call from this number. I am in Abbostsford BC. Didn't answer it and no message was left.
