just got a call too.  Called back & received a message that said "the mailbox belonging to HELLO is full."  Can't remember the rest of the message but the guy saying hello was not someone I'd want to do business with.

I just got a call from this number. It was an automated message about lowering interest rate on credit cards. I pressed 1 to speak to a representative & when I asked to be removed from their calling list the lady hung up on me.

I got an automated call from this number identifying itself as "cardmember services" asking if I wanted to lower my interest rate. I indicated yes by pressing 1 and was then transferred to a woman who answered the phone with "Hello, cardmember services. Is it safe to say that your credit card balance exceeds $5000?", to which I replied, "wouldn't you already know that" (assuming the call was actually from my credit card company). The woman promptly hung up.

I tried calling the number and there just a recording that says the mailbox is full.

BEWARE OF THIS POTENTIAL IDENTITY THEFT SCAM!!!

Same thing for me :  you ask to speak to a sup or remove your number and they hang up!!

yeah i got the same thing its a scam except instead of being nice i just cussed them out

Ditto all of the above.  Very rude.  They hung up on me.  When I called back, voice mail full and person briefly who talked did not sound "business-like."

Exactly why I don't answer calls from #'s i don't recognize.

Just got a call from this number.  As my husband received one a few days ago, and realized it was a scam, I didn't bother to respond.

Similar to the posts before me.  I pressed 1 to speak to a representative and informed them that my number was on the do not call registry, she said 'shut up' and hung up.

I got a phone call from this number, I hit decline cause I was in the middle of something and I didn't recognize the number.  They didn't leave a message and when I called back, it said that the person named "HELLO" mailbox was full.  Thank you everyone for the information.

Just recieved the same call, dialed 1 talked to Cal and asked him to explain why they still called me if they said in the message I didn't qualify. His answer was because it was so much fun! When I asked him to remove my name from his list he hung up.

I get this on locale phone line a lot and just got it on my cell which I did not answer.It is a scam to get your card number and charge to the limit !

Got a call on my cell phone from this number at 9:38 am today.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number, glad I didn't waste my time.

I received a message about a missed call, I saw the phone number and did not recognize the area code I have a large family so I checked to see what state the area code belonged to that is when I saw all these post. Thank you it saved me from calling the number back.

Caller did not leave a message.  Since I did not recognize the number, I did not answer the call.  However, I did go to Google and found several posts about this being a potential scam contact.  How did people ever get so devious?

These people are seriopus scammers. Trying to get you credit card information. If you tell them what they can do to their mother they get a little bent.

Just got same call from same number regarding lowering interest rates. I wish I had the ability to reach through the phone and punch the scammer on the nose.

I meant to say - these people call and want to offer you a smaller credit card interest rate. They say they are from CREDIT CARD SERVICES of Birmingham Al. and they reproesent Visa Master Card and etc etc.

Then when you tell the guy your on the DO NOT CALL LIST he starts to get smart - but telling him what kind of sexual services his mother performs you can tell he is a red neck back woods scammer.

Also received a call saying my credit could get a better rate. AND to make it easy, just press 1 on the phone. I never would but if it seemed authentic, I would hang up and contact my card holder directly. Since I did not recognize the number, I hung up and copied the number  to Google which is how I ended up here. It pays to be safe - always hang up and call a known legitimate phone number.

I just got a call from this number while I was in a meeting, so obviously I didn't answer. I was debating calling it back because I am in college and usually don't know the area codes of people anyways. But thanks to you all I know I don't need to call them back!
