Get calls, no voicemail and how do I stop it?

Got a call from this number with no voicemail.  I have noticed an increase in these types of calls also where they just call and if they get your voicemail they don't leave a message but still call all the time. If you are on the do not call registry, how do you make these calls stop?

Recorded female voice states I am eligible to consolidate my credit card debt, but only for a limited time.
Recording does not identify who it represents, but tells me to press 9 if interested. I pressed "end."

Received this call and pressed 9 to see about lowering the interest rate on my credit card.  A lady came on the phone and wanted a bunch of information from me including the last part of my social security number.  I would not give out the information.  If the company had received my information from one of my credit card companies as they said they had, then they should have it already in their system.

I too am on the no-call list. But these calls came in several times in one day -- which happened to be immediately after I included my phone number in an on line giveaway for a free iPad. I stopped the registration process once I realized it was one of those "answer this seemingly endless series of questions." As I said, I didn't finish the process, but it is still my own fault. Perhaps this info will help someone else going forward.

I never enter my phone number online for anything. And I have a default email for things like that. But this *one time* I included my phone number and BAM! I started getting call after call the following morning.

I am on the list also. But I think my number was accessed because of my own stupidity. I included it on something on line. So I think it was accessed because of that. And even though I am on the no-call list, I thought that those on the list  that are being called anyway must still report the violations before any action is ever taken. The "bad guys" may be calling because my number was released after I was put on the list. And/Or (could be one reason or both) -- they may be calling because most people don't realize that they have to report the violation.

Hope this made some sense.

They identified themselves in the prerecorded message as "Card Member Services" which happens to be how Chase identifies itself when accessing the account online. It was a total scam offering the "final offer" to consolidate my credit cards at 0%. But it was my "final offer." I pressed the number to get someone on the line just to take them away from a call for even a few minutes. They sounded pretty angry when I did not respond to them.

I got this call this afternoon after receiving, and not answering, 3 "blocked number" calls.  I never answer "blocked number" calls.  We left the house and when we got back this number 404-303-0944 was on my caller id.  Thanks everyone for telling me it is from a card member service.

DNC list seems to be a joke. I've received more of these annoying calls since going on it...they're every day, a few times a day. Totally relentless. After I've had enough of seeing a number on my caller ID, I'Il pick up the phone and slam it down. That has seemed to work!

Missed call from this number and do know who this is. Very annoying!

My cell numbers have been on the do not call registry for years, but if you don't report EVERY SINGLE CALL that you want stopped, those calls will continue. I've had some success with reporting  unwanted calls. The secret is to report the call, even if you've reported it before, again and again and again. That usually gets them stopped within a month. Don't be bashful. MAKE THE FEDS DO THEIR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number today on my business line. Nicely requested that "Brian" take me off his list. I was hung up on.

I also received a call from this number and they left half a message.  I tried calling back and they said the phone was disconnected.  This occurred on July 6, 2011.  I had this problem in the past a few years ago from another number.  They did this every day, day after day.  It turned out my bank gave out my phone number.  So don't be surprised if your bank gave it out.  They do this a lot.  You have to read the trash they send you so that your number is not passed around to companies they are associated with.

I have written this on so many of these forums that I lost count. I don't think people pay attention to what others write on here BUT, it does NOT matter if you are on the Do Not Call list.  This list is only for commercial businesses to not call you.  The Do Not Call list does NOT protect from scammers.  When you signed up for the Do Not Call list, this information was made clear to you. But, you would only understand that, if you had read it.  And, if you're on here belly aching about being on the Do Not Call list, then apparently, you didn't read it.

missing call with no message... who does this number belong to and isnt this phone spam if it is a solicitor?

Received a call in the middle of my work day from this number.  They did not leave a voice message, they never do. I keep getting these type of calls. I am also on the do not call list.
