Call from our "Carpet Cleaning Company" to schedule an appt to clean our carpets, as they are running a special.

We don't use a carpet cleaning company, as we don't have carpets.

I have reported this to the DNC registry twice, and they still call. When I talked to someone to get more info, they hung up on me.

Can NOT recall the number. It doesn't go through

Lets just hang one of these sh*theads
Carpet cleaning special...yada,yada,yada...defying DNC list and with no returnable phone number...what do they REALLY want? Since they obviously don't clean carpets. Too little for our politicians to do anything about and law enforcement has no interest in following up on this...let's just hang one of these phone-spammers in the public square as a warning to the others. Drawing and quartering is optional. :(

    Is It Daisy???????

This scam has been running for a while.  It used to be Daisy with her robo call from MA.  Now it is some other ROBO scum bag with a GA.  They are probably off shore and they are trying to get personal information under the ruse of scheduling an appointment for carpet cleaning.  DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING OR HIT ONE OR TWO TO BE DELETED OR YELL AT SOMEONE.

I just got a new Panasonic cordless phone system (suggested from by someone on this site) that has caller ID block.  Programed both Daisy in MA and this caller in GA today i nthe block list.  When they call again (and they will) the phone system will ring once give them a fast busy signal and hang up on the SOBs.

It was worth every penny for peace in my home.

Carpet cleaning company they say.  Have reported them to DNC twice, calls keep coming.  SO I see how effective those laws are.  Maybe if EVERYONE who gets the call reports them......

they call both of my home lines simultaneously. I have answered the call from daisy in MA in the past but when I saw "Customer svc" listed on the caller ID I guessed that daisy had moved her operation. lol
Pressing 3 to get off their list obv. doesn't do anything, so next time I'm going to set up an appointment and have them drive out here and then I'll find out who daisy uses as a local contractor and I'll deal with them directly.
My son is a lawyer and this is what he suggested for me to do.

I answered the phone, a recording about carpet cleaning started & said to press 1, if interested.  To get a co. name, I pressed it.  A girl asked if I'd like to schedule an appointment, I asked the company name.  She hesitated, then said "Deluxe carpet cleaning".  Told her we're on the DNC list & remove us from further calls.  Then she says, "OK, and I'll call you again tomorrow."  Told her I'd take them to court if she did.  She hung up on me before I could get more 'colorful' with any additional comments.  I'll file another complaint with the FCC.  (Like that's going to do anything!)

My Caller ID says "Customer Service".  Recalling the number directed me to "Press 1" to be removed from their call list.

I have had the same results as well as pressing "1" to be deleted from their call base.  I still get calls.

I just received a call from this company too.  Ironically I just filed multiple complains against them.  They used to call from 978-570-2296.  The pre-recorded message is still the same: "this is Mike from he carpet cleaning company..."

Also a recorded message from a carpet cleaning service.  Do not call complaints can be filed with both the FTC and FCC.  FTC says they are not going to do anything while the FCC will send a notice to the calling company (if known) and copy you.

I alway file with the FCC

Rec'd call today March 4th, 2009 @ 12:10 PM MST.  Phone rang twice and disconnected when I answered.  I called the number back and heard a recording stating "Thank you for calling.  If you have recieved a call in error, please press 1 and your number will be removed from our customer list.  Thank you very much."  Then 2 beeps. When you press 1 a recording says "You are calling from area code (your area code and number), if you would like to have this number added to our do not call list press 1, if you would like to add a different number, press 2."  If you press 1, you hear a recording saying "Your number has been added to our do not call list, we appologize for any inconvience, goodbye."  If you press 2 it says "Please enter your 10 digit number followed by the pound sign" (enter 10 digit number then #) "you entered (10 digit #).  Please confirm this number by pressing 1"  press 1 "Your number has been added to our do not call list, we appologize for any inconvience, goodbye."

If this is a telemarketer, then they shouldn't have called me in the first place because my number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  I'm going to report the call for whatever good it will do (I don't expect it to do any good).  In the mean time when it asked if I wanted to add a different number to be added to their do not call list, I entered 631-960-7178 which is a rejection hotline number that will lead them to a recording that tells them their breath stinks.

They called me again (3/4/09) and I setup an appointment. I gave them the police stations address & phone #. As I stated above, my kid is a lawyer and he called one of his cop buddies who said that he will do his best to stop the calls. If nothing else, the police station will have their carpets cleaned! lol

When my husband answered the phone, a recorded message gave prices, etc. to clean our carpets.  Then they said to schedule an appointment to press "1" or some number.  When the lady answered to schedule our appointment, my husband told her to remove our name from the list -- that we are on the "do not call list".  She immediately hung up.  We get these calls frequently.

i don't know how they are doing this, but the fake number shows up on called ID, but the call is not showing as an incoming call on my digital voice service.  i will ask Comcast about that.  they are spoofing the number and able to bypass electronic data call records. (could they be using Skype or something??)   at any rate, i picked up and listened to their message about Carpet Cleaning (i doubt it), and got to the options: #1 to schedule appointment and #8 to be removed from the list, but guess what . . . .  if you hit #8 you get an error message and the recording starts all over.  i got a human by hitting #1, and she says i'll be taken off the list.   i sure do NOT believe that.  these people are creepy and deceiptful.
