This number is looking to scam someone, they never leave a message they go by the name Insuranceco. Leave us alone.

This number never has anyone on the line when I pick up.

As above, never leave a message. If you call the number they claim they will take you off the list. Funny, they don't say the name of the company. Sounds like your typical slime balls.

Message starts out:  "Existing Business Owners....".   This is just another Spammer.   Wish we had a reverse blowup function available.  These people waste a huge amount of time for those of us in a small company.

Got call 10:40 PT 8/10 - "If you are an established business owner ... " and I hung up - they are offering loans. SPAM.. On call back there is no ID - just opportunity to remove number from their list - even though it is already on national do-not-call-list.

i had a problem with some collectors. i found a lawyer and he helped me win two against them two times!!! i didnt know but they can't tell anyone but you about that debt!! they were calling my mom and telling her they were lawyers and i owed money and were trying to get it from her!!!! they even said they get a warrant and stuff for me. no way!!!!!!! they even sent me a letter saying they were a law office!! it was so awful, my mom was crying about it and stuff. i found out all that violates the fdcpa, so you can get help if they are doing it to you!! This is the attorney that had helpd me :mark carey at 877-909-mark.

another fraud - why doesn't King Obama really do something for business and prosecute these scamming criminals - have the phone companies block the service to these obvious frauds?

They call at least twice a week. No one ever answers and most concerning is whether they are stealing information without me ever having a verbal conversation with anyone.

Is there any Do Not Call Registry List that can resolve this from recurring?

Another time wasting loan fraud.  If I needed a loan, I sure as hell wouldnt try to get one from a telemarketer that calls and hangs up or uses a pre-recorded message to spam everyone they can find.

The do not call list is a joke.  It was created so that political parties and supposed "non profit organizations" have a nice big database that can call you since they are exempt from it.

The problem I have is that I file a complaint with the FCC, they dont even look into it.  What good is a do not call list if it is not enforced.  It just makes the spammers/scammers know they are free to call.

I recommend that everyone either get phones that have call blocking (Newer Panasonic Phone Systems do but limited to 30 numbers blocked) or you can use computer software where you phone lines plugs into a modem first and you can block people.


The blocking is very effective but for some reason there is a new spammer calling every week.  Many are overseas which you can tell by the blank voicemail they leave with the horrible background noise of cheap overseseas VOIP calls.

I have received calls from everything from loans, free financial advise, illegal drug sales, credit card offersm exciting new business opportunities (If it is so good why are they spamming), to about anything you can think of.

I have contacted the FCC, DOJ, written my local represenatives but no one will do anything.

The worst I have ever gotten was directly to my cell phone where someone had made up a cell phone number which happened to by mine and debt collectors kept calling and asking to speak to a Kevin.  I explained there is no Kevin here and I have had this number for over 10 years.  I answer with This is Dean.  The voicemail has my name and my company name listed on it.  They continued to call for two weeks before I got hold of soeone in the offices and had to get an friend who was an attorney make a call to get them to stop harrassing me.  

If you are going to give out a fake phone number, please give out one that is not in use because you can make someone elses life miserable.

The do not call list does not count for business numbers. Just the way it is. Business people are supposed to be callable by anyone, even people without a previous business arrangement, you know, like *new customers*. The legal language of the do not call list would block new customers who happened to be businesses from calling you at all. Think about how stupid that would be.

We moved our phones to google voice and you can mark numbers as spam, and block callers so they get and out of service message. The phone is really just like email and if you treat it like email you have way more power over who can get through.

(I don't work for google, just thought I'd share. As I just got a call from this number and saw all the whining on this forum.)

Caller ID only shows the number.  Pre-recorded message about monies available if you are a business that has been operating at least one year.  No company name or contact information (required for pre-recorded messages).  Complaining to the FCC and FTC for all the good it will do.

Pre-recorded message about money for small biz. Annoying.

I just got a call from this number. They left no message.

Pick up the receiver and hang up right away.  They'll stop - eventually!

Scammer using robo-calls. Isn't this illegal?
