Fishy. Said they were calling about a "5 year contract with the Federal government" for GSA. Left a message. Didn't know my name or business (which would have nothing to do with govt services)

Same thing...they called like they new me...just hung up

Called my business about "doing business directly with the Government" - which would not apply to us. When I tried to question "Tenesha" and told her to email us information, she said she's be happy to do that and let our owner know how rude I was to her. As if.

Fishy indeed. Just like others said asked about 5 year gov. contract, asked if we registered with GSA registry and if not would we like to. Then asked various generic questions about our company, like how long we were in biz, how many employees, yearly revenue etc, i decided to give it a shot and took numbers from ceiling that would approximate our type of biz digits if compared to similar companies. The Tesha/Tenesha/Variant said other professional representative will be in touch with us soon and she will forward some more detailed info to me via email. We will see.

Teneesha woman left a voicemail about a 5 year GSA contract.  She didn't leave info about who she was or where she was calling from.  It sounded scammy to me.  I didn't call back.

talked to her too. if their number is not listed with a company name on google, i find it fishy too

These SCAMMERS call every month or so.  Never the same rep; they must get discouraged when people slam the phone down on them all day.  I let it go to voicemail.  Good luck Taneesha.  The McDonald's Drive Thru is looking more attractive each day.

Tanesha wanted to talk to the boss about a GSA contract, saying he'd know what she meant (she's one of those telemarketers who believes you win the boss's esteem by being rude to the person tasked with screening calls). Not only do we not bid on GSA contracts, we're in an industry where GSA contracts aren't a thing.
