Keeps calling my cell phone. When I call back, it rings once then I get a busy signal

I recieved a call from this number - they asked for Mr Johnson - I said you have the wrong number and when I attmpted to ask where she was calling from she hung up on me.

I got the same call. It was a black lady asking for someone I do not know. I said wrong number, then she hung up. It could be someone spoofing their caller ID number through an IP phone service. Most likely some sales corp.

I got a call from this number at 9:00 am. It was a African American woman who pretended to be calling a carpet company. I was very short with her and gave up no information. She claimed that my number was listed as a carpet company but immediately recanted, apologized then hung up.

HUMPH!!!

What did the federal government want?

I was called today from this number on my home phone and the person on the other end asked for me by name.  When I said they were speaking to me they hung up.  Very strange and a little scary.

I received a call from this number 404-404-0000 this morning at 10:07 , the number looked suspicious I chose to pickup and then hang up.  They called back immediately and left no message.  I tried to return their call and the phone rang 3-4 times then a recording that the number had been disconnected or was no longer n service. I tried to call again and this time it picked up on the first ring, then same recording that the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.

Called 3 times - two to my business  - the third to my cell because they had somehow found I was forwarding because I was on the road - all in ten minutes. I answered the 3rd time and they asked if Charles Wilson worked there and was he there now - I answered no to both questions and then asked who was calling and what was the purpose - he would not answer and gave me to a supervisor who would not give me a name or purpose just if Charles Wilson was there. They did say they worked with a bank - I was afraid that they were trying to garnish wages and would send me the bill happened to me before.

I think that this number is used as a disguise for the caller's company location. A lady called me from this number about a job.

I work at the Federal Court at the Russell Building in Atlanta.  If someone from our court calls someone, the 404-404-0000 number appears in the caller ID screen of the person that we are calling.  That is not our number, however.  Our exchange is 404-215-XXXX.  The powers that be probably decided that it was a security violation to have our phone numbers appear on other people's caller ID.  Or maybe thy did it because they're the Government and they can.

They just called my cell. Does anyone else that received it have anything advertised on craigslist?

I have received several calls from this # and other #s from Reid T Barnes in Atlanta.  He is mentally ill and has been harassing my family (and many others) for years.  He knows how to hack into the phone system and use others numbers...he once used the US Navy and often uses Atlanta hospital numbers.  He has been taken to court more than once but only gets mediation and has not served time.  He somehow enlists others to make the calls since his voice is very easily recognized.  If anyone knows where to report his activity, which is illegal, please respond.  Filing police reports hasn't even slowed him down.  I asked him to call me instead of others when he gets this urge...but that only worked for a while...I'm sure guessing he's gone off meds.
