received a call today and for the last couple of weeks. they are fraudulent and you have to file a complaint with the federal debt collectors consumer financial government the phone number is 855-411-2372. website is consumer finance.gov as well. they are using a bandwidth telephone number and you can also call them to file a complaint as well

They are calling me with scams

Got call from this number but left a different number to call back to a one mrs/ms smith, threatening with on going investigation on a depository fraud ....

Got a call saying i commited check fraud. not true.

They called and said "a complaint has been filed against this social security number.." and gave the number 855 798-1893 to call back.  I asked Verizon to block them from calling me again.

I have gotten numerous calls from this number the past couple days saying I had an outstanding balance with a bank and that if I did not pay it immediately, a warrant for my arrest would be issued the next morning. I do have an outstanding balance with said bank, however, my balance is much lower than what these people calling me are saying. When I explained to "Miss Jackson" that I would not be making a payment to them, and that I had a payment arrangement with the collections company in possession of my account, "Miss Jackson" very rudely told me "good luck with that." And hung up. They are calling it Highland Services and even offer an email address(highlandsrvs@gmail.com) They have also called me from (404)334-7498 and give their callback number as (855)798-1893.  They are very pushy and threatening.

Several calls in two month period - recorded message about social security . Do not answer this caller .

I get messages daily from this number, they leave a message saying they have something against my social security number, I don't ever call them back, they also leave a different number to return the call at.

I have also received many calls from this number and they say something about my social security number. How can I make them stop calling me? Help! It's getting really annoying yesterday I got 3 calls in one day.

These are total scam calls originating in India.  You can't stop the calls from being initiated, but you can protect yourself.  Get a call blocker.  Also, don't pick up on call numbers you don't recognize.

I get the same thing, I just got two calls back to back from this number saying something fraudulent  with my social security number. it is really pissing me off! I am not calling them back because I don't want them to continue these calls.

This company called me threatening to take out a warrant for my arrest if I didnt pay them $1200.00 for a loan I supposedly took out..I know I havent taken out any loan cause at the time I was jobless with no bank account but im glad I did this research

"Ms. Jackson" called me about my sister (how the heck did they get her name) about how she put me on a legal binding contract and they needed her to call them at this number. I called my sister and her account was recently hit, so this is probably a part of that.

I received the same message and call back number (saying a complaint had been filed against my ss# and to call 855-798-1893). I never answer a call from a number I don't recognize and I just started using the phone # about a week ago and have not done anything financial involving this new number. I thought it might be a scam so I decided to research before I calling them. I see I was right.

harrassment calls and won't provide information

Got a similar message as many have detailed; they got my ssn, call Ms. Jackson, ext 302. My concern is thesr fools left this message on my WORK PHONE!

About every 6 months, I get these same calls from various "Pay Day Lender" SCAM Artists.  The reason I say SCAM Artist is becuase I have NEVER taken a pay-day loan!  A couple of years ago, I ALMOST did.  I went so far as filling out an on-line application (WITHOUT any of my bank information) to somewhere I thought was local, and as soon as I hit the submit button, my phone started ringing and my email inbox was flooded with "offers".  However, I decided I would not go that route and NEVER accepted any of the offers.  However, about a year after I did that, I began getting harrassing phone calls & emails stating I had taken payday loans for various amounts and was threatened with all kinds of things including bodily harm.  

Absolute scam. I've received multiple calls with the same basic message. It's either a payday loan or bad check and each time the caller ends the message by thanking me "for taking care of this matter." The return number I was left with (this time) was 866-372-8831. I get two to three messages a day from these clowns. Don't pick up! My caller ID says it's HFS.
