received a phone call from this number didn't leave a message only a background music

It happened the same called back and they asked for my number But I didn't give it to them

This number started calling me 2x a day and like the previous posters, there was no speaking and background music.  I called the number back and asked who they were.  They are selling credit card ptotection.  Same script as some of the other telemarketers: this call is recorded for quality control purposes.  thank you for using visa/mastercard ... we want to mail you a $10,000 gas voucher ... and give you a 2 week trial offer for identity theft. I told them no thank you I was not intersted in trial offers and to please take my name off their prefered customer list and not to call again.  Hope it works  I will keep you posted.

Same here, this is strange.

Wont tell me why they are calling with three seconds of silence as voicemails. I called back and they just kept repeating my name over again cuz i refused to say anything. I wanted to see what kind of people these wers but they are unimportant. They use several numbers with different area codes. Scary people.

They said they are from Consumer Advantage.  Offering a $200 gas card.  Then they try to sign you up for credit card protection service.  They use several different phone numbers.

calls my cell phone, leaves no messages or anything.  No one there.  They can knock it off is what they can do.  I thought that when u only allow certain calls to come through to your home phone or cell phones, they do it anyways, and no one does anything about it.  Some federal gov't plan, go figure.

This number calls several times a week. Never leaves a message and I can't seem to get phone out of my pocket quick enough to answer it.  Never called it back but an sure it is a scam or telemarketer!  If I could only reach out and punch them in the throat life would almost surely get better! I think it is the same folks that use this number to call my cell trying to give me a fuel card 269-768-2622!!!!!! I've asked them to take me off their list as well but no luck with them complying!

If it's to good to be true. Then it's a SCAM.
