vonage scammer trying to get my credit card info saying vonage will be disconnected

Received a call from this number with caller Id (Quan Quan). The caller was trying to get my credit card information informing me that I owe about $4.96 from Verizon and that my connection will be disconnected if I do not pay that amount right away.

Same like Verizon user, first lady called Jacqualin called stating we own $4.96 for short telephone bill from A T T, that our line will be disconnected immediately, we can pay at A T T office now (5.30 pm in the evening) or by phone using credit card without charge. Transferred it to Mr. Mark, I asked for A T T identity # which he gave as 1576. Foolish of me I gave my credit card #, many thanks to CHASE credit card service it was denied. Mark asked for another card, I told him I need to verify with credit card company for denial and asked for his number for me to call He gave this number. I called credit card company only to find out that they try to collect $378 through Western Union. I cancelled my card. Many thanks to CHASE once again

I received the phonecall from this number with ID-Quan Quan and told me that I owe $4.96.  If  I donot pay rightaway my phone will be disconnected. I gave the credit-card no. on the phone. Then I realized that I did a big mistake, I cancelled the credit-card.

Same thing happened to me. She asked for $4.96 and credit card #. But I did not give credit card #. This is fraud. So please do not give credit card # otherwise they will charge it.

got call from 404-781-3665. I new it what is she going to say, she asked my credit card..i said ' hold on' and put her on hold 10 min. she called again , I did same thing...just say' hold on' and play music!!!!

My spouse received call from this number stating that Vonage says that $4.46 is balance and she gave my number, the lady called immediately, I was in meeting and said that the phone would get disconnected and I can pay over the phone, she transferred a man picked up asking for credit card number, and foolishly I gave the first card he said it did not go through, he asked for other one, to hurry for the meeting I gave and hang up.
Immediately i realized something fishy and called vonage they have reported this number as abuse and are investigating, I called credit card company and canceled the card, they tired to deduct amount from chase card through western union, but it did not go through.

They try to abuse us of human nature of panic, or being in hurry, so never give credit card details to person who calls you. REPORT THE ABUSE.

I recieved the same phone call today. A phone call from a person named Quan Quan called from 404-482-6904 saying that i didn't pay $4.96 for a Verizon telephone bill and if i didn't pay it off right away, they would disconnect my phone. They said i could either go to some place in Belmar NJ, and when i said it was [***] too far, they said i could go to 2701 Macafee Road in Avenel NJ which is a place that doesn't even exist.
