This is a SCAM collection agency. Cohen, Schwartz and Associates. They act like a law firm saying legal action has been filed against you, or may be filed against you. DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY...SCAM SCAM SCAM

They are calling me everyday because I was put down as a personal reference for a family member.  A reference that I never gave by the way.  i talked to a woman from there when I picked up my phone on the first morning and agreed to give her information to my family member.  She called again the next day,,I didnt pick up so she left a message with the same information. I called them back, talked to the same lady and politely asked her to stop calling out home.  She said that she could not do that because it was the only contact number that she had. Also that I would have to give her another number to contact my family member or she would have to keep calling our number.  She said she had no legal obligation to stop calling me even though I had asked her to and I was not involved in what my family member had or had not done.

My son took out an internet loan for a small amount. They called to threaten to take my son to court. My son paid them the money but they called and said that he still owed more. They said if he sent aprox $210 that the whole thing would be paid off. I said if they sent him a receipt to say it was paid off. Well, guess what? No receipt ever came. 16 months later they have started calling and saying he owes $500 dollars. The woman says she is Agent Anistasia. Scary huh.

Scam artists don't give them any information.  Tell them to stop calling and record all conversations.  They will call from 718-732-0174 Mike Jones (fake name) and 888-286-3470 x809 tries to act professional and make you think they are a legal entity.

I have received phone calls from this number on my work phone.  I have reported this number to FTC, but because they usually end up with disconnected numbers it's hard to trace.  I've gotten to the point where I just don't answer their calls.  Please do not give them any information.  They try to trick you because they sound professional and they have information about you.  If they were going to serve you, it would not be over the phone.

This number keeps calling my 20 year old daughter stating that they are going to call the license bureau to report she wrote a bad check and have a block put on her licenses.

I, too, have received calls from these unscrupulous people. They are scammers. They called my 19 year old son at my old residence and said it was important to speak with me. When my son said he hasn't lived here for six years, they said "really? how can we reach him? My son did NOT give out info. They called my other number and said all this mumbo-jimbo about filing an action, get my lawyer to call them, etc. I ahve looked them up on the Internet. They are scammers. They have an F rating with the BBB and I have reported them to all the service agencies etc. Do not give out your SS#, do not call them back. They are merely trying to re-collect on old debts that have been paid off. They use two numbers: 770-239-6720 and 888-286-3470. They have moved from their previously listed address and they are rude and should be stopped for doing what they are doing to people. It's these sort of people who really upset me. Beware...they are not a legal firm that is doing anything legal.

I HAVE RECIEVED COUNTLESS CALLS FROM THESE PPL SAYING I RECIEVED A LOAN IN 2006 TO AN ACCOUNT I'VE NEVER HAD. BUT INSTEAD OF LOOKING FURTHER INTO IT I PAID THEM 110. AND THE SUPPOSED OFFICER THEN TOLD ME THAT MY LAST TWO PAYMENTS WOULD BE 120. NOW IM NOT.THE SMARTEST OR DUMBEST BUT DOESNT ADD UP TO 320 IN SHAPE FORM OR FASHION. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE BOYS AND I AM OUTRAGED. THAT THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENS EVERYDAY TO PPL LIKE MYSELF THAT TRYING  TO MAKE IT THROUGH LIFE.
