Seems like telemarketers and scam callers are out in full force today.

(404)-891-5531 - Scam SAT software calls - everyday - Do Not Call list does not seem to matter

I do get occasionally.
Every time I get it  or any anoymous call,  I send a wriiten note to  local police department.
That helps me.

Do not call-period!

This company has called 2-3 times per day for the past month - most often is 8:45am EST and 8:45pm EST. The first time I answered I questioned them as to how they acquired my daughter's name and our phone number - and they indicated that she has "signed up in school". When I asked my daughter she said she has never done such a thing. I've been home to answer the phone on a few occasions after that and they've hung up. Tonight I answered and stressed to them to not call anymore. The caller stated "So you have no interest in your daughter's future?" I asked him if he was selling something, and before he could get out his pitch I again told him not to call. His reply was "So you don't want your daughter to have a good education, do you?"

The people - like many unscrupulous telemarketers - are scum!

The name of the company on the caller ID is WS Learning Center 404-891-5531

We have also received calls from this company 2-3 times per day. When I finally answered yesterday, they asked to speak to "Sam's parents". When I questioned him, he hung up. WTF??? Who ARE these people and WHAT do they WANT????

just answered a call from this # as i was reading what others had posted. they asked to talk to parents of my high school age daughter said she had attended a college prep class or gone on a scholarship website and i told him she had not done such a thing. he asked me if i wanted to be placed on a do not call list and seemed very nice about it but we will see..... they have been calling for the past week a couple times a day so we will see if the calls stop.

They called us four or five times within five hours asking to speak to my parents, and when I answered the phone the third time, they just hung up.

I get multiple calls per day from this number, and when I finally decided to answer so I could tell them to stop, they don't talk at all.  Just dead air.  But they keep calling.  Has anyone else had this happen?

Robocalls every day

I get a call from them every day and no one is on the other end.  Very frustating!  Leave me ALONE!

These guys call me 4 times a day and when I answer they keep hanging up WTF?? I just want to tell them to stop calling me but I never get the chance!
Really starting to piss me off!

This number keeps calling us around the time we're eating or trying to relax at night/in the evening. It's pretty bothersome. We have no idea who they are or what they want because when we answer they hang up.

Some woman asking about my kid's SAT scores; if I was satisfied with them, and whether or not we had plans for college and scholarships...leading up to an offer for in-home SAT tutoring that had to be paid for at the time of the call. I am in Texas. The number is from Georgia. Guessing that the next thing would be a request for credit card or personal info I declined the offer. She knew my kid's name, so I am guessing they have a list of kids who have taken SAT tests and are just dialing down the list.

I get at least 5 calls a day from them. I told them the first time they called that I wasn't interested and "CLICK" but yet they keep calling. They didn't even give me the name of their company.....

The same thing happened to us Estella; we answered and they hang up. I have to agree with all of the above comments. If you get a call from this "WS Learning Ctr" do not answer. They are out there just to get your money!

Constantly getting these calls usually in the evening, and its quite frustrating. I wondered why they kept asking to speak to my parents, and the next time I called, something about Wordsmart for preparation for the SAT. I knew it was a scam as soon as I saw the area code to be in Georgia with us in Washington, But the calls are getting very bothersome...

They've been calling exactly as everyone else has stated. I called them back and asked how they got my sons name and phone number (# is unlisted, only have the landline for my husbands employer altho the school does have it, and my son doesn't even KNOW that number) so I explained to the guy, who was polite, that something was unsettling about this and to please remove us immediately and he confirmed removal.  I think perhaps we need to be asking our schools how this info is getting out!

I suspect they get it when we agree to let the school publish anything about our kids in things like the school newspaper. When I agreed to it, I certainly never expected to be getting sales calls from out of state or anywhere else for that matter. Worse yet, they called my parents house and asked about my son, and they asked for my son by his nickname which he does not use at school, not his given name.
