unknown pest, unwanted call

I just received a call from 4048915688. I did not recognize the number so I didn't answer. How can I get these calls stopped?

Just recieved a call from this number on my cell.. I didnt answer and they left no msg

All these unwanted calls can not be stopped I have tried nothing works, yes I am on the do not call list that does not work I have filed complaints all I got was sorry your complaint can not be complied with. I did change our number since than we get less of these calls.

On a cell’ phone save the number as “junk” or some such then program it for “no ring”.

Unknown caller, did not answer, then they left automated voice message.

this home number they are calling and my cell...

Called me and another verizon customer within 5 minutes if each other. Neither of us answered. Weird because our verizon numbers are from different locations out only connection is she's my boss. Called back but always a busy tone. Just got a second call from them. No voicemail left

Register on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  If they are trying to sell you services or, goods & you are on this list, get their companies name, address and Point of contact information.  You can report them and the company can be fined to the tune of $$$$. You can also do a call block through your phone carrier or even through your cell phone.  But do the registry otherwise if you file a complaint and you're not on it, you will not have a leg to stand on.--Good Luck.

File a complaint w/the phone company/carrier service that you go through. However get as much information that you can on the company to start the paper trail/documentation. Get name, address & as much information as possible. Many of the phone companies can walk you through phone blocking system on your cell phone.  I have that feature on both land line & cell.    Good luck.

Its not the first...and surely won't be the last...ii firmly believe our sprint service provider has sold our info as well as others...I'm a very private person and never sign up for
anything...so how else...BBB and P.U.C are no help..

Some attorney service calling.  If I had taken some medication, I could sue for big bucks.

Real Lawyers don't do robo-cold-calling for clients.

I am on the DoNotCall registry.  Caller ID was "LEGAL RIGHT WCA" and was called past 8 PM.

Recorded message, "Please do not hang up, this is not a sales call if you would like to unsubscribe please press 2"

I pressed 2, and it seemed to unsubscribe me by repeating my number, however it shouldn't have to get to this.   I filed a complaint anyways, I hope the FTC takes care of this nonsense.
