I said "don't you know that?" He said, "you are wasting my time, hang up." I said, "you are wasting my time, you hang up." There was a bit of a standoff but he finally hung up. - Anonymous| 1 replyThe caller called me yesterday as well from another phone # 718-513-1436. I recognized the same voice and he had an indian accent and did not know where he was located. I knew it was a phishing scam immediately. I told him he would eventually get caught and arrested and then he kaughed and said Ha Ha you tink you scare me ? And then he proceeded to tell me some perverted sexual comments which I cannot mention......all this after he pretended to be from microsoft.... Now the charges can be sexual harrasment on top of the phishing scam. Where are they getting our numbers from? I asked him how he got my number and he said from social security services. We are going to have to get rid of our land lines. All the companies are sharing our information and selling it to 3rd party vendors. This is getting annoying!!
- Caller: Microsoft Dell
- Anonymous replies to AnonymousAlso I forgot to mention that the caller was from GA INST TECH
Tel # 404-894-8286 even though he said he was from Microsoft and Dell and wanted to fix my computer - NatalieJust got a call from this number, what everyone else is saying is accurate. Saying he was calling me in regards to my Windows computer, told him he was mistaken. He went on to tell me that I was wrong, I told him that it's not possible and that I don't own a Windows computer I have a Mac this confused him and then I hung up. This call was to my cell phone, so annoying!

- serenaI get the same call. At first I was concerned thinking it was caused earlier so I asked him to give me a timeframe of the report he got and that's when he slipped... I moved and hadn't gotten my internet up yet... and his answer was when I knew my system was down....his back peddling couldn't save him!...lol :)
- michael| 1 replyJust like all the others, this guy called me twice. I told him that i would report him to the FCC if he called me again and low and behold, he called me a second time. I got angry with him and threaded him yet again and he started yelling and i just hung up. I called the number back and it is from GA Tech in Atlanta and the message says that a third party has taken over the number and to log a complaint with the FCC by pressing option #1.
