This is another scam. I have no debts outstanding. They have called me for weeks and I never picked up the phone because I did not recognize the number. Today by accident I did and I got a recorded request for me to call the number the voice gave me.

I just received a phone call from this number but I did not answer because I was unaware of the number. While the phone was ringing I waas looking up the number to see who was calling.

When I dont recognize a number I get on the internet while they are calling to see who is calling.

Yep...Portbuttlio Refluffery.  many numbers, many morons.  I find that very "blue" language gets them off the line really quickly.  I have no bad debts, and boast a FICO score in the low 800's, but they keep calling me.  ...and I keep insulting their lineage.

We do not not have any outstanding debts and yet they keep calling. They are now calling Sat. mornings at 8:20a.m. We are so fed up.

This number and others they have used to repeatedly  harass us. We no longer answer the phone and they never leave a message. What kind of debt collector doesn't leave a message?

Portfolio Recovery.... these d-bags call and call and call... funny thing:  I have NO outstanding debt of any kind except for my mortgage.  Ummm, there seems to be nothing that will stop them, including letters from my lawyer!

Oh look a new number.  Look just sue them for whatever reason you want.  They will stop.
Would becomming a shareholder of PRA create a conflict of interests? I'd love to get invited to the shareholders meeting.  Can't upset an investor now can you?
I wish they would put the pictures of their VP's back up on their web site. Claire is such a tasty treat, her mug should be shared with the rest of the world.  YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NO outstanding debts, and these people keep calling me, just with different numbers! So fed up with it! Never leave a message either, and when I call back, they don't identify themselves, so I hang up.

I receive calls all the time too. I never answer if I don't recognize the number. These scammers have about 50,000 different numbers they never leave messages either. SICK OF IT so every now and then I will answer and scream in the phone. They hang up quick. Don't they anything better to do than bug and bug people. I have no outstanding debts right now so I don't waste my time talking to them.

Just got a call from this number.  Portfolio Recovery.  Didn't leave a message.  This company has so many numbers they call from.  They call at all hours of the day and night!

Just got a call from them, added them to the Mr call block list because it wasn't on previously.

Just got a call from tis number but did not answer. I know it is PR because they call all the time. DO NOT have any past due accounts, Never answer the phone if I don't know the person calling. They claim I owe a credit card from 13 yrs ago but can't produce the account or name of  the company, such a SCAM!

This idiot named Josh called Demanding a number for someone.he was a real prick.Git angry because I would not give him my name.Told him not to call,He called right back.I am not even th eperson he was looking for.BAD ATTITUDE! Harrasement plain and simple!

PR calling from my area code--getting more clever by the day! Even if I had a legit debt, why would I give any money to these scum sucking bottom feeders? So they can bother more people? I would sooner donate the money to rep weiner's reelection campaign. Ah well, yet another number to add to my stable of portrecov numbers--when I get to 50, I'm going to throw myself a party. I only need 4 more! Pls keep on calling, you mo fo's. I am coming up with more ways to entertain you...spoiler alert: I hope you like fart noises and boat horns.

Portfolio is a sad, sad company. I don't know how they make any money, because I don't know who would be dumb enough to give these buffoons their hard earned cash. I signed up with a law office in Atlanta - www.tloffices.com - to be part of a class action lawsuit they are trying to start against them. You can google Bartlett v. Portfolio Recovery Associates, but this is the gist of the lawsuit:

All persons within the State of Georgia who, on or after October 28, 2010 until the final disposition of this case (the "Class Period"), received a non-emergency telephone call from PRA LLC to a cellular telephone through the use of an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice and who did not provide prior express consent for such calls during the transaction that resulted in the debt owed.

Just contact the law office via email, they'll send a questionnaire to see if you qualify to be added, and you're instantly added to the list of names if you qualify. It's still early stages, but I wanted to do SOMETHING. I've been harassed by these [***] for years, for no reason.
