Received a call from Wade Wilson representing Rogers Hardin & Associates reporting that I had won $500,000 from Consumer's Clearing House.  He was verifying that I was the correct person.  That a Sr. Attorny would call me later in the day and that the 'check' would be delivered in 3 days to me only.  Once I hung up I tried to research his information.  I had written down the number, and tried calling it back, of course to a dead number.  SCAM.  I found it interesting that he made a point of saying not to give out any information on bank accounts, SS #, etc.

Called asked for husband told him he was outside twice. Hung up on me.....called the number back was told that was not an operating number......

He did not give name just asked for husband and then he hung up......

A man spoke, asked for me by name, and said how are you, I answered in a very monotone voice, and said fine, and he hung up. Caller ID said Atlanta GA.

Third call today, hung up again, this time caller ID said unknown but same number

I got multiple calls from this number, but they left no messages.

I too received a call from this number had the same experiance. I to think scam. Maybe we all should turn this over to the appropriate authorities Ann

Scammers... Report to the DNC

Same exact thing happened to me. Don,t know what the scam is , but I,m sure there,s one.

Got a call from this # today saying I won $500,000.00 from PCH.  Told me to be home at a certain time on certain day to receive my check.  We some how got cut off line busy when I called back.  What a joke.  They said they were a Tax Law Firm & the call was being recorded but I would not be able to call back. DAH

More likely an overseas operation. There are multiple PCH threads connected to various numbers on this site. They prey on the most vulnerable. The best thing to do is simply ignore unfamiliar numbers and consider the idea of using a call blocker.

This person did the same to me. She said I entered the contest 2 months ago. When I asked for more details about where did I apply she then hung up on me... scam!

Same situation. We received a call saying we won $500,000 from PCH and would be at our house Monday morning at 9 am. The individual said he was with the law firm Rogers Hardin and Associates out of Atlanta and transferred us to Tony Powers (on the website be looked like an older Caucasian man but this person spoke with a middle eastern accent). As soon as we asked if we should have our attorney present they disconnected the call. This has scam written all over it.
