Called and left a message horribly mispronouncing my very easy name about some sort of supposed legal matter. Happened to be sitting in the parking lot of my attorney and long time friend's office for a lunch visit. After a quick check by him and a decent laugh at how pathetic these people are, he said it's just a scam by a company to get money out of you. If you do answer, never confirm anything they tell yor or give them any info at all.

Received call from Ms. Jones who had claimed to be attempting to collect a credit card debt from 2009 for a card that I had never been late on and had been closed in 2011.  I asked her to verify the debt and send me an e-mail confirmation of the debt.  She agreed to send it but never did.  I ran my Experian credit report and confirmed that the credit card she referred to had never been late and had been closed in 2011.  Obviously a scam!

This number is calling family members and threatening them. When I called they refused to give me any information unless I gave them my social security number,  I did not. Lauren White began threating me that I was going to prison, but would not tell me anything unless I gave my information out.

I just got a call from this number 2286414015 and 4052534755 and Lauren White saying i was going to be sued for defaulted loans deposited from a bank acct i have never had. how they had my social, dob, workplace, addresses, and email that are not associated with anything is beyond me.

I just got a call from 206.686.5097.. When I called I spoke to Laura White. She states that she is looking for me to discuss and Best Buy Deception and it's a legal matter. I asked her for a number to call her back and she said 405.253.4755... obviously a Scam once I looked this number up.

Fraudulent call from "Lauren White" stating that I had an unpaid debt that her company had been able to settle for half of what I allegedly owed.    Funny thing is that she said the original debt was owed to the business that employs me...LOL!   Too funny!     BEWARE!  BIG FRAUD IS CALLING IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER!

Received a call from Lauren White.  She told me if I did not pay the money now (Friday) on Monday I would have a warrant out for my arrest and it's a felony.  She told me I am trying to help you stay out of prison.  Told me a lot of my personal info, such as emails I have had and cell phone #'s I have had.  I was believing her.  I gave her my credit card info, but due to not enough available monies it was declined.  She asked for my social security number.  I told her I could not remember it.  She then huffed.   She asked if anyone could help me, I said no.  Then she said, try over the weekend to get help and she would call me on Monday (today).  I tried on my own to investigate name of business came up with nothing.  I called my credit company to cancel card.  I then went to the police, today.  I have been so worked up about this.  Stressed doesn't say enough.   The police told me it was a phishing scam.  The officer showed me how to look up number.  (info I wish I had know).  I could not wait for Miss White to call today, which she did.  Lets say I wasn't very pleasant with her.

Got a call from a Lauren White saying I owed a debt from ACE cash express, I was sure I paid that off a long time ago so I hung up and looked on here and saw it was a scam, so i called Lauren White back and told her I wanted a emailed or mailed copy of the debt in writing so I could review it, seems reasonable right! She got all upset yelling saying I'm going to go to court and I'm going to go to jail! I then called ACE directly and they checked to see if I owed them anything they stated I had paid that off over year ago and don't owe them a dime! Scam scam scam don't fall for it!!!

First Ace has been known to do illegal acts regarding the collection of debts.  they probably sold your information to these crooks since any payday loan place is a criminal enterprise to begin with.  The law states that they must mail you a dunning letter postmarked within 5 days of first contact.  Not emailed or faxed.

This BROAD is ridiculous i recieved a call from a woman named Lauren or Laura White stating that if i didnt pay this before 8/01/2016 that they were going to issue a subpena against me.  i called Ace Cash Collections and they told me they never sold this that it is still in their collection so I'm not sure how this Ms. White lady recvd my information.  Funny thing is i got a call a few months ago from a gentleman named Wayne Johnson calling on the same claim with Ace however his amount was much higher than what Ace originally is.  So these people are some scama artist all i can say is before you give any of your personal information such as bank accounts reasearch these people cause they could be fraud I'm not paying Ms. White a dime what i will do is since the claim is still with Ace i will pay them instead of these other people because i dont know who they are.

Was woke up in the afternoon by I number I did not recognize but seeing as how I had started a new job assumed it was a supervisor. I was immediately told by a "Lauren White" that I owed Kay jewelers an excess amount of 1525.26. was told that if I didn't make a payment today I would be charged with a felony of theft by deception. That this charge would be sent toy local BMV(?!)  When I told her I couldn't pay she huffed and kept saying oh my god really? I asked her to email me or fax me any documentation they had against me. She huffed again and said ok ok I'm just going to pull this recording so they can see that I at least made you aware of the charges. And then hung up. 15 minutes later she calls. I ignore it. She calls again and leaves a voicemail saying she decided to stay over late in the "office" and that she had been in a meeting with her senior litigator "Mr. Johnson" and that they had decided to offer me a lower offer. I then started to read off these reviews to her and boy was she pissed!! LMAO but no in all seriousness this is a scam. 495 253 4755 is a fraud number. DO NOT ANSWER. NO MATTER HOW CONVINCING THEY ARE.

Good job of documentation!   I think you were being threatened with a report to the DMV. Sometimes they tell people that their SS card will be put on "hold".   After that, your library card.
