got a call from the same number, but didn't call back. it was an automated message about a job application i submitted. they asked that i call them back, but i figured it might be a scam.

Got the same message. Called it back. It's Oklahoma. Was put into a on-hold loop with light techno music for 5 mins. Hung up.

I applied online for a job , and this number called me. They say they are a company that screens people for the job they applied for. Basically I verified info on my resume and they said they would forward it to the actual employer. Time will tell if it's legit or not.

Me too.  I was placed on hold and hung up after waiting 5 1/2 minutes.  Maybe some of us should apply on line at this company as phone operators so that people like you and I won't be put on "ignore" when we call back.  You'd think that an employee placement company would want to extend quality customer service to their client database.  Silly me for thinking that way!!!!

I've got the call today, it has been twice this month, when I pick up there is no answer.

I need a job, bad, ive put in apps online. I get this phone call, after being on hold for 5 minutes i set my phone to speaker and go about my normal routine, waiting for the "verification specialist" ive now been on hold for over 50 minutes.

ya i got the same call but now that i read all these im not going to call back ... o this sucks i really need a job hahahaha

Called and stated I applied for a job online and they wanted to verify my information, blah, blah, blah. No way! If someone wanted to call you back for a job, would they go about it this way? Sounds/smells/looks/tastes like a scam! I will NEVER call them back - especially after reading the same crap on here!

I just applied for a job too and got this call from Oklahoma when I live in Portland. They didn't leave a message either. I definitely think it's a scam!

just got the call, too.  when I answered, there was no one on the line.  I applied for jobs online, too.  today one job site emailed me, saying if I was still interested to go to the site again, did that, and I re-affirmed info I already had entered.  then this call - careers@careersolutionmap.com is the email address for the site.  maybe someone might recognize it.

I just talked to someone at that number.  He told me that they do verifying for employers that you have applied to online.  But, what they are really interested in is whether or not you are open to furthering your education.  They push you for online schooling.  If you tell them that you're not interested or that you would prefer to do it the old fashioned way (sitting in an actual classroom), they are ready to end the call.  But, they really push for online schooling.
