This SCAM ad started on Craigslist and when you respond, this is what you get in return.

Thanks for your interest, The bike is still available and am its not for sale am only giving it out .I am currently
located at Wellston, Ohio. I have already asked movers to bring the
Bike  here from my grand-son's house in Huntington Beach,CA and was
going to put up a new ad here in Ohio. But my wife Advised me to put up
the ad on craiglist as she doesn't want to see the bike anymore cos of
    the memory of his Grandson.

I bought the Motorcycle for my grandson  as his birthday gift last year
august. Its 1988 Honda Gl1500. It is two months now since he died and I
would like for it to be passed out and seing the bike always brings
back it memory and it makes me cry, as the house will be emptied soon
and I myself will be relocating to Winnipeg, Canada where I shall stay
with other family members for care.

Where are you based pls? If you are able to afford the delivery charges
I can coordinate the movers to return the bike  to you where-ever you
are located in the state as I only gave them the instruction yesterday
evening, and I'm sure they will request for fees in turn.

Please let me know your position maybe I can contact the movers. I have
attached a photo of it. This was taken two weeks ago. Contact me on
    4053566466.

I'm in Tucson Arizona and the posting was on Craigslist.  I responded and the same story was sent
to me. It is to bad that we have [***] like the so called Jeff Fidson only on the internet scaming
people. If he had any balls at all maybe he would show his face in person. However we all know that a worthless slime has no balls at all. What goes around, comes around !  He will get his soon. Carma will catch up to him.

The free GL1500 motorcycle ad was on the Atlanta Craigslist last night, and I received the same fishy story via email, supposedly from a Steven Bauder. These people use a different false name every time. The posting has now been flagged for removal. Don't fall for stuff like this! That's why Craigslist is adamant about dealing with people locally in person only.  These scam artists are probably not even in the United States.

This is definitely a scam and this dumb [***] fell for it to the tune of $1620 plus $100 in Moneygram fees. He tells you it's free has you pay for shipping to your house, then he decided he had money trouble and would sell me the bike for $1500. I offered $1000 he of course took it and I stupidly gave it. Then they tried to get another $300 to bail out the delivery guy from jail in Vermont to be paid back upon delivery. I didn't pay that. From what I've found out he is a she named Morrieen Rodriguez of Mexico. I sent the money to a Terry Kerr of Wellston, OH. Him I tracked down. Claims he sent the money to a FBI agent Jackson in Isolo Lagos, Nigeria, Africa. I'm supposed to get a refund check today or tomorrow! Get this though I was told they can only cut a check for a minimum of $3000 and I'm to contact them and they will instruct me on what I'm to do with the rest of the money. Can you say scam number two? I'm going to the police with this, for whatever that will do.

Found same message on craigslist for Tulsa, OK.  Message was posted by a person named Portable John.  Wanted me to only pay the shipping costs for a 1996 Honda Fireblade.  He wanted to give it away because his grandson died and it reminded them of him.  He told me to get into contact with Terry Kerr at easymotorcycleshipping11@live.com.  I got into contact with him.  His number was (740) 660-4252.  He was a Nigerian who spoke really bad english and was very pushy.  He called me around 3 times a day trying to get me to send a money gram to his secretary at the company Motorcycle Shipping Solutions but told me to deposit directly into his secretary's personal account.  I thought everything was very fishy about the whole thing so I googled the name Terry Kerr and found these postings.  THANK GOD I didn't fall for this SCAM!!!
